  You really shouldn't have to pay for these…they're just a selling event and the prices usually aren't that amazing. If you do go, be sure to compare prices before committing to the sale.

  Demanding payment to attend a marketing fiesta is just bonkers.

  OFB (mentioned above) doesn't charge entry and has all the main vendors you'd care to see there anyway - hold out for that imho.

  I will say, PB Expo does more than just market items to parents and soon-to-be parents. They offer classes and workshops throughout the weekend of the event, including first aid and baby massages etc. We did it 6+ years ago and found it really helpful and also got a hefty discount on our stroller (which we're still using with a 2nd child). So whilst there are plenty of big brands that are there to sell products and not offering much of a discount, there are also ancillary items like alcohol free wine/beer companies.

  OFB felt like an instagram sponsored event where everything was focused on the look and feel of items and displays, rather than the focus on expecting parents, little ones and parenting in general.
