This value is absolutely unbeatable now.. for anyone who could fit this air cooler. it makes sense to just buy this

      I own this. It's great.

It's the best air cooler period VS other brands that cost twice as much. Keeping my Ryzen 5900x cool, is better than water cooling.

    • thank you, im thinking of moving from AIO to this.
Do you find this air cooler loud ?

      • Moved from an alpha cool 240 AIO, to the slightly lesser Peerless Assassin due to space constraints trying to fit a 4070 ti in my case. If anything these are quieter due to less pump noise, very impressed and would've bought the Phantom Spirit in a heartbeat at this price

      • I'm surprised the air cool is quieter VS my Deepcool 360mm AIO. I'm not going back to AIO, they're bulky and harder to install.
This one is 15C temp lower vs AIO.

        • It shoudlnt be, good AIOs in almost all cases should be better than a air cooler

  • Anyone else find this cooler a bit noisy or should I tinker with the fan curves more

    • +2

You should be able to turn the fans way down and remove one of the fans and it wont have much impact so long as air is still moving through it.
Set it to 25% and see how the processor heat responds.

If it is a 13th/14th i7 then you need full heat dissipation (preferably water to get full performance), but anything else should stay pretty cool.

    • I swapped the fans out on mine to be Quiet fans and it helped enormously. Maybe I had a bad batch but the included fans were super noisy above 40-50%.

    • i replace the oem fans myself to get some noise out of my itx case 😂

    • Yes I'm using 1 stock fan, noisy. 7800x3d. Will probably swap it out for a better fan when I can be bothered

  • Thanks OP. Bought one!

    • Hi all,
An update. The RAM that i have (F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5N) has heat sinks on it which increased the height and ofcourse when i installed the cooler, it sat on the heatsinks. I was able to lift it up the fan and luckily it all fit in the case. Just thought i'd let everyone know to double check the memory height and the case limits if they are looking at this cooler.

  • I'm using the two stock fans and they're incredibly quiet. Not sure what people are talking about here regarding noise levels.
