Body Glove 37" Wooden Skimboard $9.99 (RRP $39.99) + $19.99 Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Anaconda

Skim boards are ideal for shallow water usage such as at the beach close to the shore.

I'm going to try it as a sand dune board with some candle wax.

Good price, but never been a fan of wooden skimboards. Add soon as the seal gets sanded away (which it will even if just using at beach since skimboards basically run along the sand) they get waterlogged and become useless.

Just stop it, it's pathetic. As you can see from the votes, no one is interested.

        In fairness, I am interested..

Interested in investing AND donating to them in the hopes we can just end hamas and their sympathisers..

loved by knee and hip surgeons the world over !

    • I always compared it to taking a run and jump at wet ice, when it goes bad you fall hard and fast. Rang my bell hard a few times and decided it wasn't worth the risks.

Thx Op, bought 2 of them for food serving matt on outdoor table.

  • Is this like smaller body board?

    • for catching short rides on thin water on shore. experienced surfers can ride these from shore into shore breaker waves and back to shore.
its not a body board, rather surfboard.

highly recommend avoiding unless you know how to surf and balance.

high injury rate with this one. not a fan. love watching videos of people mastering it…but yeah, wouldnt recommend it due to high injury rate.

the wood is solid and can damage your ankle. thats just one of many types of injury youd get.

    • I've always viewed them more like a water skateboard… You chuck it down on a thin bit of water on the beach after a wave has come up and jump on it and glide across the beach. If you're experienced you can do some shuv-its or ride them into the shallow breakers and get some air/carve.
I can't really surf, but I can skate and love skimboarding.

Good because you don't really need great wave conditions to get a decent session in like surfing or bodyboarding, just a relatively flat beach.

  • Prefer full fat.
