I just bought two tickets from Sydney -> Auckland return for $453.58 ($226.79 EACH) AUD with Virgin Airlines.

Depart Sydney: 01 AUG 2013
Depart Auckland: 12 AUG 2013

Tickets are showing up as:
~$139 AUD one way from Sydney -> Auckland (in August 2013)
~$77 AUD one way from Auckland -> Sydney (in August 2013)

Not sure if other months are showing up with these amazing prices, although check the Virgin website and be quick!

Will upload a screen shot of my receipt in a few hours, just got to work but thought I would share this with the OzBargain community <3

    Brisbane to Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch for approximately the same price. Hmm to go skiing in NZ in August next year.. Sounds tempting.

    according to adioso, normal price are between 270-290 so if you cant wait till next year august, 270 isnt that bad either

    Remember that currently the AUD buys $1.20NZD - NZ is a great place for a holiday and those prices are great (even the ones erwinsie posted)
