    From the website:

    Osteopathy is a pseudoscientific system of alternative medicine that emphasizes physical manipulation of the body's muscle tissue and bones. In most countries, practitioners of osteopathy are not medically trained.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteopathy#

    • Not quite "pseudo" here in Oz - Dr (?) Switkowski has a dual degree from RMIT, which does appear to have some real basis in musculoskeletal management.

      Note I wouldn't go near an Osteo or a Chiro though…

      • Dr (?) Switkowski

        Is he medically trained?

  • Is it legal for AHPRA registered practitioners to offer limited time deals?

    • Yes. However there are exceptions:

      Words or phrases such as ‘don’t delay, ‘act now before it’s too late’, ‘don’t miss out’, ‘time is running out’ or ‘for a limited time only’ create a sense of urgency, and may be unlawful where they are linked to unsubstantiated claims that a person’s health may suffer if they do not use a regulated health service.

      So potentially they could be in breach.

          Yep that creates a sense of urgency. You should report them to AHPRA for an advertisement breach.

            @Clear:

            Yep that creates a sense of urgency.

            It is just a statement of fact though.
