    Those Urban Brew pods did not play nicely with my L'OR Barista. I had to jab each pod with a knife just to get them into the machine. It's a known issue.

  Can anyone offer any real world comparisons between this and the Nespresso machines? I find the Nespresso machines don’t produce as much coffee with the L’Or pods. Does this machine work well with both?

    Nespresso still have patents on the gaskets that seal the pods. Therefore other brands tend to leak in nespresso brand machines. Non nespresso branded machines have rubber seals integrated into the machine instead of relying on the gasket on the pod so less likely to leak and therefore produce more coffee

      Yeah I found out about the gaskets the other day. Didn’t even know that. If this one is able to use all makes, without issue, it looks like a decent deal.

    Tried this with Nespresso, L’or, Moccona, Daley St and Jed’s capsules. All worked no problems. My only gripe is the small dispenser which means you’ll have to empty the used capsules more often. My previous Nespresso machine used to be more selective and sometimes I have to run it twice for it to pierce the capsule

    Yes Starbucks pods are genuine nespresso
