I have a iniu power bank and it’s been fine.
Can’t go wrong for this price

      • I've had major issues with baesus cables myself, so that's why I'm asking despite the good price…

        Thanks

I bought some of these cables recently and am very happy with the quality, so much so I actually went looking for the same cables but in a shorter length.

    Can't see the discount,stil16…

  • Just a few tips about usb-c cables:
If your device is not using power delivery (PD), potentially, it might struggle with longer cables (imo more than 1m is long) due to voltage attenuation.
(PD means that the device and host will negotiate at start to increase the supply voltage)
Most of the cables on the market are for charging. So if you want to use the cable for high speed video transfer (e.g. in ALT mode) there's a good chance that most of these cheap cables don't work (since they don't have all necessary wires in them).

Jeyi are a good brand for data cables. I use a lot of their 10Gbls cables without issue.

  • What would be a good cable for oculus quest 2 to connect to a computer?

    • Not these. Get cables that are specifically sold for VR.

  • I find when plugged into my Cygnett 45W 4-Port Charger, if nothing's connected to the cable for a while, the charger cuts it off.
Could be something to do with the little LED on the cable. After a while it goes dim and I have to replug it to get anything to charge. Anyone else notice this?

    • +1

I have the same charger and same cable. Didn't have any issue. It only cuts off when it's 2 devices plugged on the charger and that's just for a second. That's pretty normal in my case. But what happens to you I don't think it's normal. One of the two might be faulty.

  • Missed again.

Thanks, ordered an hour ago. Shame I was not awake for the power bank deal super low price.

Yes. Pretty bright in a dark room too.

  • Thank you. Ordered.

      GOT IT!

Thanks OP, the electrical tap holding together my current cable gave out this week, this was perfect timing.

Glad to hear you grabbed one. These are pretty good. There is one annoying led that turns on when they are charging, but that is only on one end of the cable, so you can leave that one on the charger side

What kind of ozbargainer are you if you don't already have 37 of these lying around :p

    • i learnt the hard way the these cables dont do data (at least the one I bought from another deal didnt).
not sure if this one does

      • Haven't tried them, but for the price, if they do, i don't expect it to have high transfer speeds

        • 480 megabytes per second as per the listing, so might be ok
i didnt really care about the speed, just wanted data transfer thinking my cable has to do data
got very embarassing when i couldnt use it for that at crunch time

      • +1

Yes, there are data cables that supports higher data transfer rate (e.g. 4k for connecting monitors) and cables that supports faster charging. Always need to make sure you're checking the specs.

The one thing that I don't like about USB-C is that if i have a box of USB-C cables (that people normally accumulate over the years when they get cables from various USB-C connected/charging products), it's not easy for you to see which cables are for fast charging and which cables are for fast data transfer if the cable itself isn't labeled itself.

  • Coupon is back and has gone again. Picked one up about half an hour ago. Seems like they release very limited numbers of coupons fairly regularly. Keep and eye out!
