    Whats the RRP?

  • -1

Youd be better off with one of the cheaper Worx deals thar have been on offer previously

    E.g. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/548340

    • -1

      Lol from 2020

    • Actually I got my Worx kit for $71.64 delivered in Jan 23, from Worx

  • -3

    This is not a deal

    • +3

If you are not in the ecosystem, then yes, this may not be the deal for you.

      • -8

I have 7 pressure washers and tons of useless ozito batteries, not a deal. Not to mention, lack of psi.

  • -2

Is this just a post to say its now available?

    • Yes.

      • So its not a bargain post??

        • Was $219, now $178. Is there a defined cut off point for a "Bargain"?

          • +2

@imnotgoingtopayrrp: You may want to put that in your post. Thats why I asked if your post was just to say it was available

            • +3

              @KnownSystemError: Updated title.

            • @KnownSystemError: @imnotgoingtopayrrp How did you determine 219 rrp? Price hipster crawling bot seems to have only picked up the price yesterday which is the price in op. (Not saying it’s not, just wondering if there is some secret way I don’t know other than going into the shop to verify rrp and price history)

  • if you still need the hose for water, i would just get the normal pressure gun for power as well

    • You can use a bottle of water. I've got it to wash down the MTB at the trail before putting it back on the car.

      • I have the 600hp Ryobi 18v version and yeah that’s about all these are good for. Definitely does have its uses. Thankfully Bunnings has a good return policy.

  • +1

been wanting want of these to try make a flamethrower.

    • +2

      Or a “pissmaker”

    • Would make a awesome douche or enema machine.

Could also be adapted for a flosser or bidet if the pressure can be changed.

      • +1

idk id rather burn stuff with it than shove it my ass tbh

  • Too expensive when the whole large machine is 100ish. Probably 60 for the skin only and i would buy this.

    • +2

Yep, 60 skin only is a better price. 2.5aH battery and a charger doesn't really bump it up to 178.

    • just turn on the main tap to the max for max power.

    • Lol, if you were a manager of a Bunnings store they wouldn't be in business for long.

      • Lol, looks like you are a manager at bunnings ;) Just kidding.
But ya, theres simply isnt any better materials or something special compared to a full high powered machine which sells for 99. Just visit aliexpress choice day who ships 3 nice products to you From china for 8 to 10 bux in 8 days flat showing how much prices are inflated in australia. Also bunnigns is making decent bucks like coles and woolies due to lack of severe competition. Nothing to show pity about. If anything we should feel sorry for ourselves for losing money and making these rich companies richer.

        • Nope, but I'd probably abuse my member discount if I were..

I agree. I don't understand the market for this type of item, and feel like it's unnecessary for it to exist.

Spent $70 earlier today on a portable fan, am I a fool?

          • @magic8ballgag: hmm, I wouldnt say the tool or the fan shouldnt exist. It has a market. I just felt the price was a bit on the higher side for the washer.

  • +1

I had the 18v Hikoki one and it was sh1t…

  • Yep I agree, maybe at sub ~$100 this could be a value proposition but not at ~$200.
Also I'm not an product engineer but having your lithium battery so close to the water source without a protective cover seem like a recipe for disaster.

  • -7

Agree, Skin only well sub $100 then discounted from there, maybe you might tempt me

    • +1

Perhaps you can post a fine deal on what you described?
Otherwise i dont see a point of your comment as this is a different deal in and of itself.

  • -1

Happy to be corrected, but where did you find the $219 release price?

My first knowledge of its release was from an email I received this morning, and I posted its existence and the price of $178 in the following link earlier today. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/812161

And I check the Bunnings website for Ozito PXC tools on a daily basis so I can add to the the link for new tool releases.

      PP shows “Retail: $219”

      • Cool. I don't have access to PP anymore.

    • +1

I love adding to my Ozito collection. I'll sub to your post. Thanks.

  • +2

For those wondering, rrp is $219.
I saw this in store on Feb 6th and thought it'd be a handy foam gun but not for that retail price.

Avoid the Worx brand better off use the normal hose.

I got it pointless. Waste of money.. no pressure at all

  • Get this one from Ryobi instead, $260.

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-18v-one-hp-600psi-ezclean-…

600psi, and connects to 1.25L or 2L coke bottles.

Really handy for cleaning without mains water nearby (I use mine to wash down beach stuff or muddy boots on site before putting into car).

These portable washers aren't really pressure washers though. Much more pressure than a garden hose, but not pressure washing a driveway for instance.
The portability and lack of water supply when using are the selling points.

  • I recently bought this (https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-1800w-2030psi-high-pressur…). Is this any good?
