  I was actually able to use these vouchers for a 4dx session when booking online just now at Event cinemas

  It doesn't work when booking 4dx using the in person kiosk though, so seems like a glitch in their website

    No Event Cinemas in my state (VIC) but I tested with Village - looks like it lets you pay the difference for 4DX and VMAX. No luck with Gold Class, though.

      Yep, interesting thing for Event is their website charges $5 to upgrade to VMAX but you don't have to pay anything for 4DX

  bought two $13.95 tickets for Village. Needed $3.30 booking fee extra when redeeming vouchers on Village website, but didn't have to pay anything for upgrade for VMax session
