Also $40 Cashback on Mobile Services

To ensure tracking, use the TopCashback app, click the "Get up to $100 Cashback" pink button to the dodo website, use mobile data (not Wi-Fi) and Chrome browser.

TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on nbn & mobile services (excludes eSIMs). Cashback is ineligible on Bundle deals and on all other products & services.
  • For nbn purchases, cashback is eligible for new or returning dodo customers. A new or returning dodo customer is someone that is no longer a dodo customer and currently has no active nbn service with them. You must activate your nbn service and remain a dodo customer for at least 90 days after placing your nbn order to be eligible for cashback.
  • Orders must be completed wholly online, and not negotiated via phone/chat etc.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of any gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • If purchasing both an nbn service and mobile service, this must be done as two separate transactions in order to receive cashback on each individual service. Signing up to more than one product in a single transaction may cause tracking to fail.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • Accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • Return to TopCashback to click the 'Get Cashback' button for each new transaction.
  • Transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted or negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Can I choose a future date for the start and get cashback?

    • +2

      Yes. Mentioned here too.

      • +1

does that mean we have to stay with them for 90 days after the service starts or 90 days after you sign up and place the order for the future date? To err on the side of caution, it probably means the 90 days will start when the service is activated… but would like a confirmation nonetheless

        • I read it as 90 days from activation of service. 30 days is usually the maximum you can forward date for most NBN providers.

Estimated payable is up to 20 weeks.

Will check with the rep @tightarse

        • TA will check with dodo. dodo has extended the nbn offer to 2 December 2025.

          • +1

@trixieb: Thanks @trixieb ! much appreciated, do you know if the $100 cashback will continue until then?

            • +1

@polarq: I've messaged TA and will update.

            • +1

              @polarq: From TA:

              Regarding the 90 day term:

In effect, the 90 day clock starts from purchase date.

Regarding the expiry for $100 cashback:

              Ongoing for now

              • @trixieb: Thanks! so in effect I can schedule the connection to be in a month and switch 60 days after the connection starts for the cashback to still be approved and valid?

@tightarse if he has more to add/ confirm this. :)

      • can the start be set to 3 months from now as well?

        • +1

30 days is usually the maximum you can forward date for most NBN providers.

  • how long I need to stay with dodo for the cashback?

    • T&C says: You must remain a dodo customer for at least 90 days after placing your nbn order to be eligible for cashback.

My tracking says : Estimated Payable 20 Weeks

      • +1

        I fixed your typo,

"You must remain a dodo captive for at least 90 days after placing your nbn order to be eligible for cashback."

        • So if it's in confirmed status but not payable status yet. We can swap and still get the cashback later? We don't have to wait for it be payable before we can switch off?

          • @Bluey123: If you choose a future date, the 90 day clock starts from purchase date. Stay 90 days and switch.

            • @trixieb: Oh okay so if I stay 90 days it becomes confirmed status but it's not payable until you wait like 25 weeks or something. So you can leave after the 90 days even though it's not payable yet?

  • +2

    Hmm Dodo internet…. nahhhh

  • +4

Why was this deal expired only to post the same as a new deal the very next day?

  • +2

Does anyone know whether they do credit check as part of the application process?

  • +1

Are we expecting better deals for Black Friday?

    • -2

Wait a sec while we hop into the future to check and get back to you. I can also give you some stock picks, if you like?!

      • +7

        expecting

        .

        expect
        /ĭk-spĕkt′/
        intransitive verb
        1. To look forward to the probable occurrence or appearance of.
expecting a phone call; expects rain on Sunday; expect a discount on nbn services for Black Friday
        2. To consider likely or certain.
        expect to see them soon.

        • -1

How are other people's expectations helping you decision-make here?

    • +1

I am - this deal was a timely reminder to cancel my plan with Superloop (30-days notice). They didn't even try to keep me when I shared my intentions of hopping on a Black Friday deal so I'd say there's a good chance better deals are on their way. At the very least, 12-months of good pricing instead of 6.

      • Yeah the best they could do for me was $80 for 500. At the moment I've gambled on this, will find out later if I need to hand in my Ozbargain membership

  • Can I do this for two separate NBN plans at two different addresses?

    • Will ask the rep @tightarse

    • +1

TA will check with dodo. dodo has extended the nbn offer to 2 December 2025.

    • @lovrekn TA has confirmed you are eligible for the $100 cashback for the second address.

  • +1

Online gaming has been unplayable since going to Dodo earlier this month. I've left them early, even though i probably wont get the cashback now

    • Who did you change to?

      • Im moving back to Superloop. Had no issues with them in the past

    • @Wigles Sorry to hear. Which plan did you sign up to?

500/50 has only just rolled out.

      • I was on 50/20 but i dont think it was a speed issue. Most of the time i couldnt even connect to EA servers and when it did work the ping was terrible.

  • It seems that all big cashback offers are hit and miss or should I say miss and a miss off lately (unless I've been just unlucky). The small $2-5 ones never seem to have any tracking 'issues'. For larger ones one has to keep filing tickets and chasing them despite following the process. Have had unpleasant experience twice in quick succession - first with Temu 40% offer, and then with dodo $100 offer. Hopefully they will sort it with the tickets raised, but it's definitely suspicions when it only happens of higher value cashbacks.

    • +2

Hmm, unfortunately too often the case with cashback services, certainly including TCB, it's part of the risk of pulling the trigger on a deal. I use the rule that I want the deal if the cashback failures, and never only if the cashback succeeds.

    • never failed even once for me, got like 600$ in cashbacks now

  • +1

I used dodo mobile before , terrible service…

    • I thought dodo was extinct now.. wtf

  • omg, just transferred to dodo from finder, just $40 gift card

  • I think I'll rather go with superloop for 25mbps for $45/month and $95 cashback

  • This has been there since earlier this month (both TCB and Dodo 500/50 offer for 6 month), i placed my order 30 days in advance on 4/10 and it got tracked the next day.

  • +1

Lol dodo is now down for maintenance, so I can't sign up anyways. I guess it was not meant to be!

    • same here - will switch to superloop tomorrow i guess - just wondering if i can use my Belong Modem with dodo, superloop? I have FTTN.

      • +1

@polarq @ChipsChicky Currently dodo website is working. dodo has extended the nbn offer to 2 December 2025.

        • thanks, do you have idea if Belong model will work with dodo?

        • +1

          cool thanks!

      • +1

Belong modem works with most providers.

  • Going through the signup process, the edit box to enter my AVC is not enabled, can't type anything in. Website having issues?

    • Not sure. Try again later. Website seems to work when I tested using TopCashback app, click to dodo website, mobile data and Chrome.

Cancelled my Optus NBN last night when I saw this deal, coincidentally it was the last day of my billing month so my NBN was cut immediately

Signed up for dodo last night and it was live at around 1 pm today - speeds and ping are perfect

Just waiting for confirmation from the rep that cashback is eligible and multiple transactions and I’ll repeat for my parents

    • +1

@lovrekn TA has confirmed you are eligible for the $100 cashback for the second address.

  • I'm with Exetel at te moment, anyone know if I need to give them notice of cancelling?

    • +1

It looks like you signed up to the new Exetel offer in July.

You don't have to give them notice but you will be charged for the rest of the billing cycle. You can choose a future date for dodo (up to 30 days in advance).

Here are the new Exetel terms:

Want to cancel your service? There’s no need to give us 30 days’ notice – though you’ll be charged for the rest of the billing cycle. For example, if your cycle starts on the 1st and you cancel on the 14th, you'll be charged for the full month. Alternatively, you can choose to ride out the service until the end of the billing cycle.

Once you set your cancellation date, any Warp Speed fees or Hibernate credits from that cycle will be added to your final bill which can be paid via the app. After everything is processed, we’ll send you a receipt.

      Service Description

      • +1

thanks so much for looking into this for me mate!! love the dedication even found out i signed up in July lol

  • Signed up on 24th via TCB - Changeover day is 22nd November after giving Superloop 30 days notice
I have not got the Tracking email yet nor can I see a Pending entry in TCB.

My brother signed up yesterday and got tracking email in 2 mins.

I went to put a claim in and is asking for Order Number and amount - which are not visible in Dodo portal or on the signup email.
In TCB, my brother can see his Pending tracking, complete with Order Number and Amount.

    Any thoughts?

Do I need to wait to service is live to get more details to submit claim?

    • @slappy Sorry to hear. You can submit a missing cashback claim now with your dodo email address.

I'm on the dodo missing cashback claim page. Underneath the "Order Number" box is "Please provide your dodo email address here." as per screenshot.

In case you're not aware, TCB does not add the tracking manually. You won't see it in the "Earnings" page initially. After the claim is paid, then you will see the transaction in your account.

TCB will contact you if they need more info. Otherwise you won't hear from TCB except for the initial email when you submit the claim.

If your order had tracked, estimated payable is up to 20 weeks. It would probably be a similar time frame for the claim payment.

      • You can check on the progress of your claim or add further info here.

      • Any enquiries, please contact TopCashback support in this link.

      All the best.

      • +1

Thanks so much for detailed reply - much appreciated.
        Claim submitted just now.

        Cheers!

  • Did everyone's cashback track? Mine did not?

    • There are several comments of tracking. Please see my reply here.

  • Mine tracked immediately, but 24 hours later my order is still in "Order received" status, every other NBN churn has been immediate, don't feel like a weekend with no internet…

    • Sorry to hear. Have you tried to contact Dodo?

      https://www.dodo.com/contact-us

      • Currently on hold with chat (30 mins) as well as phone (40 mins)… whilst a great deal and cashback, currently having some regret… hopefully someone will activate it soon, also burning my mobile data hotspottting in the meantime eek…

        • +1

Oh no. Hope you are connected soon.

          • @trixieb: Thank you, after 45 mins I'm now joining the activation team hold haha… (which is I was already on hold for)… fingers crossed we are getting closer :)

            • @cook99: Are your chances doubled? Lol

              • +2

@trixieb: It did lol, both phone and chat answered at same time, and I'm now online, happy days!

  • if i take nbn25 and latet change to nbn50, will it be considered modification in order ?

    @tightarse

  • Switch was a breeze from Buddy Telco, took only a few hours. Cashback tracked normally. However I am getting only 130Mbps wired for the 500/50 plan, down from 700+Mbps from Buddy's 1000Mbps plan. Let's see if they fix this promptly… What speed are y'all actually getting?

    • +1

Have you tried to reset both your modem and nbn box? When I changed providers (not dodo) and also upgraded to 500/50 plan, both times I was asked to reset the modem and nbn box to get the speed.

Otherwise do contact dodo, details here. Another customer contacted dodo mentioned here although not quite the same issue.

      • Yes, reset was the first thing I did. Reply to my support email came in about 3 hrs, advising my service is "working within specifications of NBN" and asking some details. I replied back to their questions and waiting to hear from them, if they don't operate on Saturdays I'll be waiting till Monday …

        • Update, still no response from them. Same BS speed

          • @High: After talking to cs rep, problem resolved after factory reset of the modem.

    • Had the same issue, was getting max speed with Leaptel 750mbps. Switched over to Dodo 500 and was down to under 150mbps constantly. However a reset of my router seemed to solve it.

  • +1

Switched in 15 minutes with BYO Modem Option.

Tracked in 15 minutes by switching through the Mobile app and using Chrome Browser.

  • What if you move premises during the first 90 days? Does that void cashback?

    • Will ask the rep @tightarse

  • Signed up to be connected on 1st Dec.
    Let's see how this goes.
Switch to Superloop last year didn't track properly, but was eventually sorted out by the team at TCB.
Used the app, mobile data and chrome browser as recommended.

Update: Tracking successfully. Received confirmation within 4 minutes.

  • If you are currently with dodo, can you move out to another isp for a couple of days and come back to dodo and be able to avail this deal?
If yes, which ISP is a good deal for the 1-2 day broadband hop?

  • Signed up last Tuesday. Received the SMS a little over an hour later to plug in the NBN modem. Unfortunately, the previous owner of the house took the modem with them, so I was waiting on the Dodo chat for over an hour talking to 3 reps to organise for a replacement NBN modem.

Modem was delivered to the local post office two days later. Unfortunately, the 4 lights won't stay. After 2 attempts of Dodo getting NBN to activate the service, a technician has been organised to come out tomorrow.

Finger crosses that the internet will work tomorrow, and Dodo won't start charging until the service is active.

  • I signed up on 28/10 but not tracked by TopCashback AU
