Good price, but I believe Bunnings still have the 2x 4ah batteries + dual fast charger for $100. Better value for sure!

This is still good if you want just the one battery and can't be bothered selling the other battery and charger.

seems not great value unless you really only need one battery
3 pack or 2 pack plus charger both around $100

  • I have a few of this size now. The small mah keeps failing on me and idk why!! But it is more convenient with the small battery to work on cabinets and some other installation work.

    • How is it failing?

      • It just doesnt want to charge anymore. the charger will give you red blinking sign that tells you faulty battery.

  • What’s the difference with this in the post and this https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-black-series-4-0ah…

Other posts I’ve read says they’re the exact same inside but only did a quick read, this is $48….the $0.60 could be a down payment on a McDonald’s Soft Serve Cone

The difference is that part of the casing is red instead of black. :)

      It's a rebranding afaik.

    • Black is the promotional version, and those babies were $30 at one stage.

  • Any difference in the quality of cells? Aldi batteries are priced at around this price but offer Samsung cells, also in a much smaller form factor now that they moved from 18650 to 22700s.

    • Aldi batteries? Sorry, are you saying that you can use Aldi batteries on an Ozito branded device?

      • You can buy adapter brackets for a lot of batteries now via ebay or ali express.

  • I got one of these with lawn mower, skin only was $199 and with battery kit was $229, so this battery + charger = $30

    • The Aldi mower kit was same price with 2 x 4AH batteries and charger. It's surprisingly capable.

not bad, but if you aren't in a rush i would wait for the 3 x 4ah 18v for $99

Just had look on the bunnings web site, the 3battery deal for $99 is still running.

  • It will be advertised as 20,000mAh if this was sold as a powerbank.

  • Three batteries for $99 gives 216Wh. Power with a Pure Sine Wave inverter and it is much cheaper than most Powerbanks - such as the Bluetti, Allpowers etc that are about $400 for 250-300Wh. Except can't seem to find inverters to run off 18V - they all want to run off 12V or 24V.

  • Just get 3 pack, where you're getting 3 for the price if 2. Once you're in the Ozito ecosystem, you'll definitely find yourself wanting a few batteries handy.

    • Do the chargers that come with the 2.0ah batteries and tools charge these bigger batteries fast enough?

      • How fast is fast enough? Get the dual quick charger, which typically is included with a kit of 4ah batteries and implement.
