Great find when you consider the cost of the official magic keyboard, hard to go wrong with logitech too.

    • All my Kbds/Mice are Logitech. However, everything Apple related is more expensive :(
For extra $30 I got matching Lenovo Duet 5 (1cm longer diagonal) with fully compatible/synchronised desktop Chrome browser ;)

Yeah I am pretty sure there is a tax on anything that bares the apple logo/name, same sorta deal as being on the Apple MFi list or whatever it is.

Been using 11" version for my iPad Pro for a few years and it works well. I like that you can pull off the magnetic keyboard and just use the iPad with the kick stand on it's own too.

Had one of these and thought it was great, but ended up purchasing a second hand Magic Keyboard.

    Issues I had:
    - The rubber around the speakers have no structure – over time, this loosened up and ended up protruding out. Example here. They apparently fixed it by replacing with individual speaker cutouts, but the image looks like pre-revision.
    - I like to rest the iPad on my lap, which meant that the stand 'cuts' into my thighs after long periods. Not an issue when viewing on a desk of course.

    Still a good deal though.

  • I've got 2 of the smaller versions. It gets super dirty and is impossible to clean. Fantastic otherwise

Thought this was the price of a cheap tablet not a keyboard for a tablet

    • Sad no larger iPad rumoured to compete with the 14.6" Galaxy Tab Ultra line..

I would recommend trying a Magic Keyboard and also this. I've owned this 12.9" version and currently have the 11" version. Also had a Magic Keyboard.

I prefer this by far. The Magic is awkward and doesn't type as nicely (personal opinion… you might prefer Magic). I also prefer the kickstand approach and the ability to flip the keyboard around to the other side and use as a tablet (with pencil).

Basically… try both. I would still buy this if it was the same price as a Magic.

  • Does not last long. Have a 11” for I think 16 months, rubber started to “loosen up” only after several months, or expand if you will. Just last week one part of the rubber finally detached from plastic assembly that holds magnet and keyboard connector, have to glue it back, still holding up but not sure how much longer before other part of rubber will detach…

    Not recommended.

I have one of these and the magic keyboard. It has its pros and cons. I like the keyboard and top row of added keys, however, the way you prop the ipad up just isn't the same as the magic keyboard.

  • Don’t buy, the worst Logitech keyboard case ever. Wish it’s using Bluetooth connection instead of physical connection. Got one for my iPad Air 5, failed in 3 months, got warranty replacement from JBHIFI, the replacement is on the way of dying. I think it’s the ribbon connection at the hinge side got tired and broken. Ordered an eBay Bluetooth one now.

  • I got mine price matched from JB, not a great case. The rubber around the ipad is loosening and it looks shitty. Keyboard is good though.
