I have 2 of these and they are fantastic. Was looking to buy a third to use on my iPhone video rig I’m building to use at work. Great timing.

I have 2 as well. Very happy with mine.

This is quite a detailed review on the above product
      https://goughlui.com/2023/08/31/quick-review-teardown-veekto…

      And this of the Iniu
      https://goughlui.com/2023/08/21/quick-review-iniu-megapower-…

In the conclusion of the veektomx they say the following:

The inclusion of a single-function micro-B charging port is a bit of an odd choice, while the poor efficiency means more heat generation and noticeably less usable capacity (24.0-27.8Wh for Veektomx versus 30.6-31.6Wh for the Iniu). Charging times were noticeably longer too (around an hour longer than the Iniu in USB-C PD mode) while ripple voltage, port selection and accessories were better with the Iniu.

        I got both!

        • Same :) guess we'll just have to test them ourselves!

      • +2

Thanks for posting this. Cancelled my order and bought the Iniu

        • I got iniu it is super!

      • +2

That INIU is different to the one the poster above you linked though? Hers was like a mini version of that

  • It's 29.99 in my side

    • same

    • +2

Did you apply / tick the 40% coupon?

I just bought the black one for $17.99.

      • +1

ticked the discount on the black added to cart. then had a look at the other colours and clicked discount and added to cart. went to the cart and deleted the one that i didn't want. that was the mistake.

        delete all from cart.
        reopen link.
        select the color.
        apply discount.
        check out straight away.
        that seemed to have worked.

    • The 40% coupon disappeared after I bought the black one so maybe it's limited to 1 purchase per account…

The other colours are still showing their 15% coupons.

      • +2

OP said there is a limit of one.

  • How can you determine with these things how many times you can recharge a phone. For example if this unit was fully charged and there was a blackout that lasted 4 days how many times can I recharge a phone?

    • It depends on your phone and what you're doing while charging.

    • +4

In general, a power bank is about 2/3 (66%) efficient when transferring power to your device.

This battery is advertised as 10000mAh so it can be expected to transfer 6666mAh (+/- 10%).

Most phones are 4000 to 5000mAh. You can expect this battery to charge most phones 1.5 times from flat.

  • Thx op. Picked up a second one. Decently small and light. Fairly fast charging. And a two way USB c port.

    Does the job

"I'm not gonna put it up to 8, Moss! It'll blow my cock off."

Careful what you put in your pocket.

  • i can get 15% off other colours but cant get any discount on the black one, 40% off wont work

    • 40% off coupon looks to be expired but these batteries are constantly on sale.

Just wait for the next sale. Goodluck.

      • +6

Now it is 35% instead of 40%

        • Yep just got one for $19.49

  • What do you guys think of VRURC as a brand? $32.20 for double the capacity, and comes with a neat USB-C cable…

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09LC82WS3

    • Can’t compare to this unit, but I have one of the VRURCs and it’s a ball tearer. It’s my most used of four different power banks.

  • +1

back in stock but at 35% discount so = $19.49

  • size of galaxy ultra plus another 4 cm in thickness

  • Just curious it says micro USB input and a USB C output/input. Does that mean I can charge the pack with USB C ?

    • Yes you can charge with usb c

  • Thanks OP!

  • The circle of life. I wake up and see an expired powerbank deal :(

    • +7

This one seems better and cheaper @ $17.54 https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0CRT3YFWG/

      • +1

I bought one yesterday. It’s 20w, the OP one is 22.5w, not sure if it is better.

      • Thanks mate

      • +4

I have this one bought in one of the past OzB deals. For the size, it's quite decent, can recharge my Pixel 7 Pro (5000mAh) battery ~1.7x (i.e. not two complete full charges due to conversation loss).
You can charge it via micro USB, iPhone lightening and USB-C - ie. anything you have to plug in will charge it. Oh, and it fits perfectly in a small bum bag too without adding too much weight.

  • +6

Says expired but just purchased one at 9:00 am… Only 35% discount on the Black & not 40% so paid $19.99

    • +1

Just grabbed one as well. Been looking for a good small powerbank for ages.

    • +2

I bought one too for $19.49 for the black one. Thanks!

  • -1

Is this another Samsung bomb in your pants?

  • I noticed that the power bank still has Micro USB port. Do you think it's kind of redundant? Maybe other power bank has only USB C port better? I mean the price is definitely good.

    • This one has USB C output as well as output. Bit thicker but also compact with % display

from a decent newish brand. Maybe wait for a deal on this one.

  • +3

Why do I always buy one of these
Even when I know I don't need one

    • It's called "mobile phone low battery insecurity" Or "Collecting lol.

Seriously, good to have a few of these in different sizes and places.

Sometimes getting a new upgraded model is nice too, they can fail and have a 2-5 years lifespan

depending on usage, brand and storage.

  • +2

The VEEKTOMX is now $19.49 with a 38% sale price and 35% coupon
Seems like no current discount on the INIU: $36.99

    • +1

      thanks, just purchased for $19.49

      Still a great deal

  • Where to get promotional code ?

    • On the item listing page just under the price, there's "coupon" and a checkbox to activate it

    • Tick the coupon box, add to cart and when you check out it will appear as $10.50 promotional credit in Payment Methods, ie you pay only $19.59 for the black.

  • Seems like one per account or deal is expired now. Just bought black one @$19.59 and went to look for another one and can't find the coupon tick box.

  • -1

    Does not works.give up.

    • +1

Works fine, albeit at the slightly higher price of $19.49 as others have said.

    • You may be being mislead by the checkout price. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15046853/redir
It doesn't show the coupon discount. Look in Payment Methods ("Your available balance") on the checkout page and you'll see a promotional credit ticked. You'll be charged the final price minus that credit.

  • Arggh too many alternatives, wound up with three different ones, don't know which ones to cancel :(
