Great price. I'd get these if I didn't recently buy a pair of HD 599

Absolutely love these headphones. Have had a set for a couple years now and for me they are my end game. A set of these and a fiio btr15 and you've got a match made in heaven! That combination has been my favourite tech purchase I've ever done.

My fav headphones so far, really like mine! Great price too

  • Bought these a year ago, great headphones.

  • I got a pair of these from Amazon Germany a few weeks ago for $229. They're pretty good. I also got a cheapo $12 headphone stand which works well enough.

They’re a no-brainer at this price, great cans. I was lucky enough to grab a pair on the unidays sale mentioned in the OP.

Got these for the discount price OP mentioned 6 months ago, been amazing, great quality sound and if you have a large head they are still very comfortable (past headsets have felt like vice grips on my head), very worth the investment.

Do these get hot to wear?

    • +2

I've had similar HD 595 and HD 599, neither were too hot for me. I don't think open-back style headphones get has hot as closed.

If you wear them for most of the day you may want to rest them above your ears occasionally. Like anything that covers your ears they will eventually cause you to warm up but in my opinion they are pretty good.

  • Thanks chief, without knowing a lot about headphones these seem to be some of the highest rated for 'neutral sound reproduction' within the couple hundred dollar price range, including the lack of needing an amplifier

  • Sorry for my dumb question, but what is the wired connection? Is it a standard headphone jack? Thought id best check before buying

    • +1

Fits a standard jack (3.5mm). Has included adapter for bigger less common 6.3mm (1/4 inch).
