Lenovo ThinkSmart USB-C 4K UHD Video Conference Camera $149 + Delivery @ Mwave

60

This is primarily a wide-angle conference room camera so it comes with a fair bit of mounting hardware, but also works fairly well as a USB webcam with its monitor hook, tripod mount and magnetised rubber foot.

    • Good thinking to post the specs

There are some image settings that can be changed using the ThinkSmart Cam Control app on Windows, and it implies that the FoV can be changed between 110° and 65°, however it didn’t seem to make a difference for me. The AI features can also be toggled and the frame can be “hard cropped”.

Overall image quality I think is quite poor for its price at RRP, but at $149 it's a nice camera that has a glass + aluminium construction and a USB-C port.

Edit: dang just noticed it's out of stock. Back when I bought it it was $199, they must really wanna get rid of them.

      • Upon further testing, the image processing that your video conference app offers do wonders to the image quality. Streaming apps like OBS make it look a bit dull.
