  • New means - lapsed or inactive users ?

  • Set it all up, hopefully they follow through, my roadside with Budget is gonna end sometime in the next couple months so this would be a pearler. Cheers OP!

  • My arevo email from last year worked !

Arevo app doesn't have a spot to put an email address.
You sign up/in with mobile number and a OTP that is SMS'd to you.
So, not sure how RACV can verify the "same email address".

Edit: fixed it, some reason it was not asking for it on sign up, tried again

  • Is this the same as being an actual RACV member?
(Meaning: can I use this membership to get the discounted theme park tickets?)

    • Yes, you'll have a member number and can get RACV benefits

  • Can this be used on other states?

You mean like state of confusion? shock? excitement?

I have to downvote this. I've got targed a month ago, saying that someone will give me a call to apply this offer. However never heard from them.

Redirected to a page with following content after I hit the claim button in the email.

    Registration Success!
You have successfully registered for your RACV Emergency Roadside Assistance $10 offer.

A friendly member of the RACV team will reach out to you within the next 72 hours to process this offer for you.

    Thanks for using arevo!

Just signed up in app to arevo. Only have the 50% off for 17-20 yr olds in the offers section

  • I have no luck when registering account on https://my.racv.com.au/s/login/SelfRegister.
It keeps saying Sorry, the information you entered does not match our records. Please call us on 1300 668 015 for assistance.

And yes, I registered arevo and logged in that app using same email account as above.

    • ah my bad, should fill the form in the link -_-

  • Can anybody confirm that they got this working without being targeted? as in you created an account a few minutes ago and then clicked the link in this post and it worked?

    • I was successful, insomuch as the form went through (using the RACV link above) and I received a message on screen - "Thank you for submitting the form. Your reference number is ####" and "you will receive an invoice for $10 after submitting this form" within 5 business days. I'll update when (if) I do get the email…

      • Here is an update, Well I signed up yesterday and got the email today for the $10 plan. took about a day and a half to come.

        • So you can just sign up through the direct link?

  • Just got the payment email. We're in

This is second time I’ve seen this offer come up on here, the second time I’ve applied for the discount and the second time I’ve not been contacted

Install the app use the fuel finder for a couple of times and leave the app on your phone. You will receive an email. I guess directly submitting the form doesn't work, you should receive an email from Arevo.

Can confirm that the steps outlined by scyther triggered the email for me.

        • That's encouraging. Please, how many days did it take for the email to be triggered?

          • +1

@Nominal: I'd initially downloaded the app on the 15th… no email. After I followed the steps scyther wrote I received the email from arevo with the offer the same evening. I clicked the link and put in all my details again - I still haven't received the amended invoice to pay as yet.

What I did was I opened the fuel finder, put in the CBD postcode and searched. closed the app. Later I opened it and ran a search on a different CBD postcode and then closed the app again.

The email you receive with the discount specifically calls out you having searched for fuel savings using their app.

            • @Grover: Legend. Really appreciate your reply, thank you.

      • how to create an account with email?

      • Can you just use the direct link OP has provided?

        • I tried that, it didn't work. I didn't get payment email. When I went through the steps mentioned above, I got an email from RACV. After submitting the request, I got a payment email in 4 days. my account is now active.
You can give a try using the direct link, may be it will work for you. you never know.

I claimed one of these offers in January and tried to contact them several times as I had not heard from anyone to activate it. After 4-5 attempts to contact them I eventually got a message back to say that someone tried to call me several times but I didn’t answer and now the offer has elapsed. Well, I receive multiple spam calls everyday so I don’t always answer my phone for unknown numbers and usually if it’s legit, someone will leave a voice message. Seems a very archaic way to do business in my opinion…

    • It does look like their customer service is silly.. I paid using BPay, it requires CRN field which does not in my email invoice. So I tried to call RACV to double check the information, but they don't know what is that and ask me to email back to arevo for that question. And now, I'm waiting for Arevo reply my email..

  • Can confirm got email after following advice of @scyther . About a day or 2 after doing the fuel searching I got the email offer.
