Other $2 deal seems to have expired so ill move my comment here.

Good deal but topcashback seems to be having a problem lately with tracking (within last month or so), even though they register on the click list.

Last 4 transactions did not track which are:
    - Boost mobile $35
    - Specsavers
    - Compare the market $200
    - Amazon

The last 3 transactions are within the last week.
The boost one i ended up refunding from boost cause i didnt want to end up with a failed inquiry.

I have no ad block and always clear the cookies with a fresh browser.

The rate of failed tracking is more than shopback , however CR seems to track all the time.

I still believe in them since CR is been going down hill with offers (hence why i still post TCB deals) but next TCB transaction that fails ill be leaving them for good.

    YMMV though

    • +1

Hey @easternculture, sorry to hear that your latest transactions haven't tracked. Would you mind sending us a DM so that we can look into this for you?

      • +4

Ive put in an inquiry for Compare the market. Today is 7th day so according to your system, should be sent to retailer. Im interested to see how your system will process this inquiry. If it fails ill pm you and provide screen shots of transaction.

The amazon is a low value so not too fussed. It was more to test if the system tracks it. More or less to prove my theory regarding tracking.

The boost order ive already refunded it from boost, didnt want to risk a failed inquiry

        • +2

Thanks for submitting in an enquiry for your Compare The Market order.

In regards to your Amazon order, would you be able to DM the item so that I can double check it didn't fall within the ineligible categories section please?

          • @TopCashback AU Rep: It still should track as $0.

            • +1

@easternculture: I remember the rep saying if the product is in an ineligible category it won’t track at all into your TCB account, unlike SB and CR.

              • @I Smell Pennies: i remember seeing a few comments from users on ozb as amazon tracking at $0 for ineligible category.

Anyways this is 3rd day so ill give it 7 days (benefit of the doubt) like the compare the market one .

Im more pissed off at the CTM because of the $200 value and i cant cancel it like the boost deal due to churning my private health insurance using that deal.

                • -1

@easternculture: Amazon is always bad in horining cashbacks, i never had them paid after tracked from cash rewards or shopback

Only and only may be paid if like Amazon gift card or a BONUS on $0+ spend via shopback.
                  Normal amazon never pays out

    • Yes certainly tracking has been very bad with boost.
Lucky you managed to escape those boost ones with refund

      • +4

My experience with boost from SB /CR deals is if it doesnt track within a few hours, it wont track at all.

So i cancel the order within 24hrs to avoid any hassle

        • -1

But sadly my experience with boost is they never refund unless I make chargeback.

So I stay away from that return with Boost As i will loose money, cashback and sim (all).

And ofc if TCB doesnt track it, I will have hard time trusting em again.

        • Could you please advise on how to cancel the boost order immediately? I'm unable to locate a button for immediate cancellation.

  • Is the minimum $3.14 purchase including GST or excluding GST? The purchases from Chemist Warehouse are reported back to Topcashback excluding GST.

      • +1

Very confusing not clear in the conditions. What is really the minimum spend with GST?

        • +2

          $3.49+

          • +3

@Slo20: Hi all, sorry for the confusion! The $3.14 minimum spend amount includes GST. So to clarify, the minimum you have to spend is $2.85 (excluding GST).

        • +1

Pretty easy to spend over 3.14$ either way

  • +1

Totally agree with easternculture, not had any tracking and when you lodge a missing payment it takes months, ( just time to forget) given up on them and staying with ones that actually track that payment and pay

    • My mate i referred also has a specsavers inquiry from mid december still in the inquiry phase due to no tracking. So he is loosing on a cashback and im loosing on a $30 referral lol

      • +5

It’s losing. Not loosing. Loosing is the opposite of tightening

        • +1

You want a grammar award or sumting?

          • +3

@I Smell Pennies: Nah but thought ppl might appreciate knowing mistakes so they don’t constantly repeat them. Assuming ppl don’t have such huge egos they can’t accept feedback

        • If someone verbally tells you loosing do ahm it's actually losing or do you use context?

        • That's actually loosening

  • +1

Yeh had 2 seperate orders for Menulog not tracked. Apparently will take “months” to be resolved. I imagine outcome will be declined after 12 months of “investigation”

    Won’t use TopCashback again

    • Hey @illusion99, usually it can take retailers up to 12 weeks for them to review their claims. If it's been more than this, please send me a DM so I can look into it for you.

  • +2

my experience with TCB has been positive so far, had Chemist WH not track but resolved within a few months (unfortunate about the time but the result was good).

My latest boost deal did not track unfortunately and I have raised a Missing Cashback Claim, i still trust TCB to pull through on that claim as I have done everything possible on my side to aid the tracking but to no avail.

    • Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry to hear that your Boost order didn't track, thanks for submitting in a claim. Our team are working hard on getting these processed for you and will update you once we hear back from the retailer.

  • Just want to echo other comments that I’ve had a poor experience with tracking for TCB. Have been waiting for over a month now with no comms from TCB. Wouldn’t use them again if I can help it

    • I've tried TCB Au several times and had zero success with tracking. Prior to that, I'd been using TCB.com (US) and its tracking was very reliable.

      • Hey both - sorry to hear that your cashback hasn't tracked. It can take retailers up to 12 weeks for them to review your claim, so please bear with and we'll update you as soon as we hear back.

  • +2

    Amazon 0% categories are ok?

    • +1

I would like to know this as well.

      • +1

0% cashback categories aren't eligible for this bonus, unfortunately.

        • Ok thanks. Better put that it in T&C then!

  • -2

    Will it work with Ebay?

  • +1

Thanks OP, ordered Bonds Men's Logo Light Quarter Crew Socks (4 Pack) $12, even better for $9 plus cashback (hopefully works couldn't find the category.

    • +1

Also bought from Bonds, its 5-10% CB with any online purchase (i believe if it comes from outlet its 5% otherwise its 10%). waiting for it to track now

      • +1

Cool , 5% is better than nothing. Will check mine too and cheap enough either way. Funny when Amazon is better than Bonds 40% off and you get 4 pairs not 3.

        • Mine still hasnt tracked, any luck on your side?

          • @ULT: Nah, I couldn't even see a category for clothes (socks) but put in a claim anyway

            • @G-rig: Ive put in a support ticket to raise awareness that this was also PIDAY related. Will put in a claim tomorrow/in a few more days as it just gets put "ON ICE" anyway for the 7 days.

I do not believe there were any categories, just make an online purchase at Bonds for Cashback, so your claim is justified.

My experience with TCB is it either tracks quickly (can be even faster then CW and Shopback at times) or not at all.

              • +1

@ULT: Yeah I bought bonds but from Amazon, 4 pairs vs 3 and was already the cheap '40% off' on Amazon, no point buying from bonds.

      • +1

Those Bonds socks are pretty thin on the base, only good for snugger fitting shoes, but alright.
Used to good thick sports ankle socks (feetures from ebay), could have just gone to kmart lol.

        • I ended up getting a singlet from them, my old ones got destroyed slowly through years of abuse in the washer.

For socks I get so many free ones from conventions i never have to buy more haha, shame about the bonds socks not being worth it though

          • +1

@ULT: nice, everyone needs a few wife beaters for around the house

yeah, they are ok, only just washed them, out of the packet no good. should be alright just not for my looser shoes like Air Max 1.

  • +1

    Any suggestions?

    • +1

I bought a $6 watch strap on eBay.

Any small accessory or cable with free delivery from China is a good option

  • Aliexpress ? Does not show products ID or url

  • +3

I give up on TopCashback. Always have issues tracking cashback. Last 2 transactions didn't track and the tracking issue happens too often. Waste of time and effort to claim the missing cashback. Just stick to Cashrewards and Shopback.

  • +5

Just to even the scales a little, I've had positive experiences with TCB.

Clicks have nearly always tracked when they were supposed to (0% categories don't seem to show like they do with the others) and of the two times I've had to contact them they've paid out the transaction.

On top of that, usually better cashback rates and no minimum payout value. Payment quicker than the others too. Received in PayPal usually within a day and transfer from PayPal to bank usually by next day (despite PayPal saying it will take 3 to 5 days). I can't remember if it's SB or CR but one of them is usually more than a week before payout is received.

    • +3

Same here - tracking has been mostly good for me. Very happy with it.

  • Thanks. Spent $4.95 on eBay.

  • How long does it take to track? Thanks. Made a purchase a while ago at Chemist Warehouse, no tracking yet.

    • Up to two days it says. Nothing yet from this morning.

      • Mine tracked already. Purchased an hour ago.

        • From Amazon?
They have issues..I can't even see a category for clothing.

  • Just clicked through to ebay and made a purchase and ebay is not showing in my visited merchants, does this take time to update?

  • +2

I have had all the positive experience with TCB in comparison to SB.
Only think I would recommend them is to improve their website, increase the visibility of clicks and transactions.

    • +1

Same, and my Highest Cashback Guarantee claims get processed very quickly.

  • Activated and my amazon purchase didn't track with this offer either..

    • +1

Amazon will take a day or two.

      • Thanks. if it does it drops the price for a 2m usb cable with a 10gbps throughout down to $8.86, and I needed it anyway!

  • +2

    Worked with uber order! :)

    • Any Doordash to stack with the free 4x donutes?

  • Tracked instantly with AE.

  • +1

Picked up a free toothpaste from CW.
    Tracked accordingly. Thanks TCB.

  • +1

    eBay purchase last night tracked.

  • eBay tracked! Waiting for CWH

    • Chemist Warehouse tracked!

    • Multiple accounts user found.

      • +1

I have a family too. They told me it tracked so I’ll just report it here I guess.

  • Can’t believe I missed this :(

    • $3?
Wouldn't sweat it, people probably just bought some crap they didn't need, and it may not even track.

      • This is Ozbargain bro. Every mili-cent counts!

    • Why did you miss and upvote it after expiry?

      • +1

Because it’s a good deal and hoping it will be offered again due to popularity.

        • Pi day is once a year, but hopefully we get something for Easter ;)

        • You shouldn't vote unless it tracks for stuff like this :)
