Was Awaiting the Afterpay day to see if any decent priced Ryzen 5 7600 CPU's come up
looks like gg.tech365 is the winner of the cheapest one @ $296.65

I was thinking of getting a 8500G, but i think the PCIe5 vs PCIe4 and also a larger Cache 32mb vs 16mb is much better in the long run

One pro the 8500G does have is the integrated AMD Radeon 740M, but im unsure how much performance it offers over the 7600 Integrated GPU

      there's no such thing. only the 7500F. remainder of AMD's 7th gen ryzen has (basic) integrated graphics.

  I wouldn't touch the 8500G unless idle power consumption is very important. Performance wise I think it's closer to a 5600 than the 7600

          We don't have a baseline pre inflation price to compare to for AM5 lol
