  • Good deal on the Anker 737!

    • Good deal on the Anker 737

      140W Anker sounds tempting.

I stopped using Afterpay because they are no longer accepting AMEX.

  • Great deal on the 737. MAX power.

Will be going to use the 737 on the Boeing 737 MAX.

    • +1

      it was nice knowing ya

  • +2

737 or the Xiaomi ZMI No.20

    • Zmi no 20 is a fair bit harder to get

    Really need passthrough with these

    • Interestingly, in my testing the Anker 737 does have pass through.

      For example, with a 100W (20V, 5A) input on C1, it allows a 90W (20V, 4.5A) output on C2.

It does not do UPS mode (so the output power interrupts when the input charger is removed) and it won't charge it own battery until the device on the output is done, or only asking for a small amount of power. It's quite particular about this, and appears to base it off what the output side device negotiates in terms of available voltage and power.

This means the way some devices negotiate for power will keep the Anker 737 from charging itself, even when the device on the output is no longer charging themselves. Other pass through charging power banks appear to do similar in various circumstances, but it is not as apparent if they don't have a screen that details the power flow.

  • It's coming as 155.21 after the $20off

    • Hi deal247,

This is part of eBay afterpay day promotion, need to choose afterpay as the payment method and apply coupon code 'APAYDAY' at checkout.

  • Still available after 6pm for cashback hopefully

    • +1

      this… hodl to 6pm!

  • Do you have any powerbanks that can be brought on a plane?

    • +1

You can bring the 737 on a plane.

    • +1

Anything under 100W and 27000mAh is fine.

The 737 is indeed 'max 140W charging power', but it's only 86.4 Wh (or 4000mAh *6 cells = 24000 mAh) capacity, not Watts but, Watt-Hour,. So therefore it's below the 100Wh limit.

  • anyone knows if this can do vooc/supervooc?

    • +1

Nope, it definitely can't do VOOC (I stuck it on my tester).

The following Oppo VOOC 30W 10,000 mAh for $25 is an excellent deal. But not Super VOOC. It does PPS at up to 11V and 3A, so in theory should do Samsung 25W Super Fast Charging too, as well as do faster more efficient charging for any device that supports PPS.

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/354138729769

Super VOOC power banks don't seem easy to find. Outside of Australia, sdoutech.com/shop/ has some. And there are a smattering on Aliexpress, but none jump out at me as worth trying.

  • I love these high W Anker deals

We need deals on Cuktech No.20 as it can output 210w, use aluminium heatsink inside, Samsung cell and 5x5000mAh.
This Anker is only 140w, has no aluminium heatsink and use Lishen 6x4000mAh.

Unfortunately the cheapest price for Cuktech No.20 is approx AU$170 on Aliexpress on Monday 18 March, while this Anker is AU$131.
