          She needs a Sofirn Q8

          • @Clear:

            133mm (Length)

            That won't satisfy her.

            • @jv: It's the thickness that counts

You can also get the Wuben C3 for not much more (~$32) with the 20% Off with an 18650 battery. This is my EDC, and has been good for quite a while.

I had that one, and I really liked it, until it decided to stop working, unfortunately. 😔

Agreed, mine was great until the day it suddenly died even though it was in storage for a month.

        • So it was still dead after putting in a new 18650 battery? That's the weak point of the torches - cheap generic 18650 batteries.

          • @Clear: Never tried, might be worth trying to source one. Only downside I can see is that a none cheap generic battery would cost the same if not more then the torch itself.

              • @Clear: Don't know what functions Wuben torches have to manage their lights but even if it fits, the torch may not function properly/at all on that LFP, being 3.2V, and if it does it will have shorter runtime and possibly lower output. 18650s are 3.7V

I'm far from being an expert but for safety reasons I'd be very wary of suggesting people put "non-standard" batteries into torches.

                • @Igaf: I missed the 3.2v part. Ignore me then.

                  • @Clear: It wasn't an off the chart suggestion by any means but if the C3 has onboard charging that could be particularly dangerous. One of our Ozb torch experts would probably know for sure.
