    Amazon themselves are very good with warranty. I've had them issue refunds for things out of warranty so you don't need to go directly to the manufacturer.

      I wouldn't expect that you would ever need warranty with a Miele vacuum. Probably not worth recouping $249 with the postage costs.

    2 years. In any case, parts are easily available and these are designed to be repaired, not thrown away like a Kmart vac.
