S7 dock works with the Q7.
yeah still the same 7 series.
I thought they did use bags?
yeah they use bags in their dock.
I personally prefer bagless to save money.I remember the s7 dock had a bagless option. Definitely preferable since you don't need to spend extra on replacement bags
100% agree, that's why i got the s7 MaxV

There was a comment in another thread about Narwall Freo X Ultra being better at $1999. Anyone else able to comment on this?

Based on my research of roborock options, I prefer the Q Revo over S8. I don't have as much carpets so the extra suction on carpet of the S8 does not apply and mopping is better on Q Revo. Q Revo went down to 1268 a few weeks back so I wouldn't bite at this price unless you need to.
Narwall looks impressive but will be a fair bit more than Q Revo so in 2 minds. Need to research the narwall more.
I had to wait 3 months with about 5 (its delayed) updates when I purchased my S8 direct from Roborock in November. Whilst the bot is very, very good, I wouldn't buy direct from them ever again.
Really keen to buy S8+ but no stock anywhere..
Unfortunately, S8 Pro Ultra is out of my budget though between Q Revo and Q8 Max, which one is the most recommended?

Roborock make good bots, but it really is disappointing to see that they continue to make bagless auto empty docks for newer models / docks like they have in the S7 range. It was the very reason I chose Roborock and the specific model from their range.
