  • Haven't tried their pods but their regular coffee is excellent.

    • Thanks mate. We spent loads of time working on bringing the quality of our espresso blends to the pod format. Took over a year and lots of trial and error but we're stoked with the result.

  • More expensive than the Aldi ones. Is it better in people's opinion?

    • +1

Give it a crack and find out. Aldi is cheap for a reason.

      • -1

Does that logic also apply to this deal?

        • +2

Not sure I follow what you mean. The Aldi coffee is fine but spending more will get a better product IMO.

      • -2

Aldi is cheap for a reason, yes, but it seems that you're confused about what that reason is.

In general, Aldi quality is quite high!

        • +1

How could my reason be any more clear. In my experience buying coffee beans from actual dedicated roasters is superior to supermarket stuff. I'm literally replying to someone asking if the higher cost of avoiding Aldi beans is worth it.

    • +3

Wait, you're surprised that a small roasting coffee company, that specialises in custom brews, is more expensive than a large multi-national company??

      • I'm not surprised, I'm just asking others that have tried both whether the premium is worth paying, in their opinion.

It might well be, but I don't know.

Urban brew sold theirs 40 for $9.

    Gotta match that my friend

    • +1

      Doesn't taste the same

      • I have tried urban brew and their coffee is not bad. Would this be better? Or worse

        • Rumble coffee is better IMO

    • Was that a special?
I can't find that on their website.

  • when will there be a nespresso virtuo pod alternative?

    • I don't think there will. Nespresso patented that system and won't be likely to open it up to the rest of us.

  • Cheers OP. I'll give it a shot.

  • Thanks OP. I'm anti-pod, but I'll keep an eye out for any deals on beans.

    • +1

Cheers, Mike. We'll be doing an Easter Deal on two of our blends this week so I'll be sure to post it here.
