SteelSeries Tusq In-Ear 3.5mm AUX Mobile Gaming Headset for Mobile Devices - Dual Microphone with Detachable Boom Mic - Ergonomic Suspension Design Earphones.

I use these for WFH teams calls. Mic is really good. Normal price is around the $65 - $70 mark. So $32.99 is a good deal.

How do you plug this in the phone/laptop? none of have 3.5mm, do those apple 3.5mm to usbc work

hold up why am I getting negs

      • No idea, but I'd be plugging into PS5 controller.

I have nicer headsets but they don't play well with my PS5 (Bose in particular doesn't like open mic settings for some reason)

    • Plenty of laptops and phones still have 3.5mm jacks.
Yes 3.5mm to usbc converters work. Just be aware that the quality of the converter DAC makes a difference to the quality of the mic and sound. E.G buying a cheap $8 unknown brand one will result in bad mic quality and sound.

      • What do you suggest? Just the official Apple/Android Phone brand ones?

        • I use just Ugreen brand. They are decent. Funnily enough they are on special now for $13.58. Usually like $18

There are more expensive ones, I just haven't tried them. But these Ugreen ones are definitely better than cheaper brands in my opinion.

          • @SueyJitSu: the critical reviews seem to say the boom mic volume is too low, might hold off on it.

            • @BLAIL: If using a pc and direct 3.5mm then it's definitely loud, and can be boosted even more.
I think it really depends on those reviewers and which connection they're using with which device.

  • Any good bluetooth ones anyone can recommend with boom mic? The shocks open comm are Wishlist ,

  • For me, the apple usb c earpods (wired) is still the best for WFH setup
