For Highest Cashback Guarantee Claims that are approved, members will receive an additional 1% on top of the cashback value. E.g. a 10% rate would increase to 10.1%, or a $50 rate would increase to $50.50.

I thought it's worth a post. If not allowed it can be removed or moved to forum.

If you can find a better rate of cashback for your purchase from another online cashback provider, then we will match and beat the rate if you choose to use TopCashback for the transaction. All you need to do is submit a highest cashback guarantee claim.

To ensure that we can fulfil our guarantee to TopCashback members, any claims against the guarantee must meet the following Terms and Conditions:

• The higher rate of cashback must be being offered on the same date and time as the transaction, i.e. you cannot claim against a higher rate offered at a later date.

• The higher rate of cashback must be from a genuine and established, dedicated cashback website, operated by an Australian incorporated company. The company must be abiding by the terms and conditions of the merchant's cashback program. As an example, we would match against CashRewards, but not ShoopFR/DE.

• The cashback offer must be displayed and available to view on the website. We are unable to match individual member specific promotions which may be sent via email.

• We do not match against savings schemes or 'discount clubs' that requires members to pay a monthly fee or that are only available to people that meet a certain number of criteria e.g employees or members of a council.

• The highest cashback guarantee only applies to cashback offers listed on TopCashback for which a directly associated online purchase has been made and where the cashback has tracked.

• The cashback offer must be a direct equivalent of the rate listed on TopCashback, i.e you can’t claim for a percentage if we offer an amount in dollars.

• You must be able to provide proof of the higher rate by means of providing a valid URL where the rate is offered.

• Need to raise a 'Missing Cashback' query for an Untracked or Incorrectly tracked transaction? Don't panic, we've got you covered. Just save a screenshot of the higher rate that includes the time and date. Then raise a support ticket on your account so our team can make a note of the details and may also ask you to provide this screenshot for verification. All we'll need then is for you to let us know on your claim once this is resolved and we'll take care of the rest.

• The transaction against which you're claiming must be showing up in your account with a cashback amount greater than or equal to $0.01. Please be aware however that we are unable to match cashback offers where no purchase has been made by yourself and is effectively classed as 'free' cashback or non-monetary purchases.

• The site offering the cashback in relation to your claim must provide it as a monetary payout.

• Your claim must be submitted within 2 weeks of the transaction showing in your account.

• Finally, these will be paid based on genuine claims and our discretion will be used in certain circumstances. If you're not sure, then submit a claim and we will review it.

    We first need "Cashback tracking guarantee"

    • The first CB provider that implements this "Cashback tracking guarantee" (offcourse proof required from member) with be G.O.A.T.

    • We hear you! And yes we understand tracking is an issue across all cashback platforms, but as a cashback site ourselves, we are constantly trying to improve this. Because tracking is a very intricate matter, we are constantly trying to improve it.

      Im happy to stick with SB as rep is always responding to pms within hours to 24hrs max.

      Have had better experience overall with shopback in terms of customer service. But better experience with cashback tracking via cashrewards

      • I've never had an issue with Shopback re: tracking or claiming. Cashrewards on the other hand I cannot get to track a transaction for the life of me and am constantly jumping through hoops to try and make a claim.

    Whats the point when they have this condition, and not specify what fair usage is

    A fair usage policy operates with regards to the maximum claim value and number of claims submitted by a member. Should a member exceed the fair usage policy, TopCashback reserves the right not to apply the Highest Cashback Guarantee to those claims and this will be communicated to the member.

      Apologies if this term causes any confusion, but its there to prevent any abuse of the system. There is no limit to the usage of the highest cashback guarantee, however, we put this term because we believe that everyone should have access to this service and we do not want fraudulent users to abuse it. Once again, there is no actual limit to the use of this service as long as you are a legitimate member using this service for the right reasons, we will honour it for you.

    Considering I've never had an issue with TCB tracking, I reckon I'll be using this Highest Cashback Guarantee claim to counter Shopback's atrocious tracking history. I'd rather put in a claim with TCB vs SB who are painful and time consuming to deal with.

    Curious to know if they'll match SB's upsized Westpac promos though.

Where as part of our commitment to being the most generous cashback site, we do offer highest cashback guarantee, where if you see a higher rate elsewhere, then we'll beat the offer by an extra 1% on the cashback value.

  • You have to buy it through TopCashback first and then go through this whole process to get 1% extra… what a waste of time

    Other sites offer the same or better rates anyway, and much more reliable tracking. Used the same device make a 2 very similar transactions last week:

    BWS via topcashback upsized offer on 12 March, Didn't track. Wait the 'may take 7 days to appear' Still doesn't track. Submit a missing form that says it may take months to hear from the retailer.

    BWS via shopback upsized offer on 14 March - higher rate (or equal to TCB without westpac), tracks in less than an hour.

    • It's a bws issue not any of the cashback providers. Hopefully you get it sorted but bws is highly likely to deny your claim.

        • It doesn't always work that is the thing, go and check the last few shopback bws deals. Even the SB rep says they are trying to work through the issue. YMMV good luck

    Not used cashback before, decided to go for the TCB $39 oodie deal.

    Didnt track, even though i made sure there were no browser issues. Waited 7 days to submit a support ticket, been over a month now with no response on the ticket. Dont know if this is common with cashback sites but has not been a great experience.

    I'm sure there's a reason for every untracked transaction, but mine tracks nearly every single time I use them. I've withdrawn over $4500 in cashback so in my experience they are very reliable, in line with Cashrewards and Shopback. I rarely get untracked transactions, with any cashback provider - and if I do usually it's a merchant problem with issues reported by many people. Nobody is perfect, everyone has their own flaws but because CR and SB are too big here everyone is scared to say anything about them.

          In terms of tracking, for me its been 60/40.

          Not trying to bag TCB, but rep should see all the negative comments as constructive feedback they can improve on

      • Also, if the people who you referred to did not have their transactions track, then you wouldn't get any referral cashback approved in the first place. So clearly it is tracking and approved for many others.

    As the others have said, reliable tracking is the problem with this scheme. I wanted Topcashback to match one of Shopback's 100% cashbacks, ordered through them. The transaction did not track and it took Topcashback a month to approve 40c cashback. Now their system is not letting me submit highest cashback guarantee claim because it's been more than two weeks since the transaction was made.

    I haven't had too many problems with Topcashback tracking, but one time I needed it was not there…

    I do prefer Topcashback over the other two. They have more reliable tracking and it's easier to withdraw money. I've been proven wrong this time, though.

    • Shopback's withdrawal time is complete and utter BS. They leave it a week before sending you a notification to say the withdrawal is successful and then you wait another few days for the transfer to hit your account. There's zero reason for that length of time on a withdrawal.

  • I actually thinking giving up cashrewards eventhough I was member almost from beginning. Last Nov there was a BWS deal, placed an order, got tracking history shown, eventually was denied!!! I contacted the customer service, the answer was because of BWS couldn't track my order or something (who the hell knows what happened?!!) so apparently eventhough you did everything right but it's not guaranteed you will get the cash back!!!( We have to pay for their technical problem too!!) Kinda sick of it, tracking getting worse these couple years too.

    Any concerns this guarantee won't work with the current SB Boost deal?

    TCB is offering $7.50 while SB is offering $17.

        For this $15/$45 referral offer, does "earn" mean approved within 6 months or just tracked when it says:

        "Your bonuses will be activated when the referee earns $10 cashback within 180 days from signing up."

  • This is a cool! I’ve used TCB when I was back in the UK and it was mostly better tracking and higher rates than quidco (my first cashback account).

    Since I have an AMEX I tend to use MyAmexShop Au cashback since their rates are consistently high. Does the match cover them too?

  • Hi Rep, can you look into a claim to beating a cashback from Cashrewards recent 15% under home category?

    The rates changed towards the end of the day but Cashrewards had a higher rate than TCB during purchase.

  • How does TCB compare to Cashrewards and ShopBack in terms of ease of use, rates etc? I’m already using the other two and haven’t jumped on the TCB bandwagon yet.

  • Once you are notified of other deal why not update same provider with your matching deal on your webpage this would give more confidence to purchaser

    I got the "There are no valid transactions for the merchant you have selected." error when trying to lodge the claim. My transaction isn't tracked so I need to lodge a mising trackback. Does that mean I'm not eligible for the claim?

    • Hi @qwerty021 I am sorry to hear that, once you have clicked through out site, the transaction is automatically registered and your clicks will be visible so even if your transaction does not track, you would be able to put a claim through the clicks.   • I requested payout more than a week ago and still have not received payment. I’m hesitant to use this site again to track. Not much use having the highest cashback rate if can’t get payment.
