Trying to buy this but showing as $35 on checkout…

    • -1

Also OP i think the $17 cashback is for the 45gb sim which is $12 on the boost store

      • Ta, title fixed :)

        • Oops sorry i just realised i cannot read…
The $45 60gb sim is discounted to $17 which is the one which gives $17 cashback.
That one shows as $17 on check out so works for me!

      • +3

No, it's $17 cachback on the $45 SIM, which has been discounted to $17.

It's a confusing one with a 45GB SIM, a different $45 SIM, a $17 price and a $17 cashback. Be careful during the purchase process.

        • Ye I just realised hahah and deal works for me now that i realised that!

          • @RIPwallet: AFL season has started and Kayo streaming is a gigabyte-hungry activity. This deal has come at a good time for me

            • @park: Same! My plan ends this week so it's perfect!

  • Go to Deal link is redirecting to 45GB plan instead of $45 one. 45GB plan isn't valid for cashback.

  • +1

I was literally just wondering whether there was a new deal for this! Good timing

Edit: Oh wait, this isn't the one where I make $2 profit for my tesla. I guess still good for those looking for a free new sim

  • It says $12 for me?

    • $12 is for single recharge discount price. $17 will get you discount price for three recharges.

      • $17 per recharge? or for 3 recharges?

      • $12 is for the 45 gb sim
$17 for the $45 sim which is the one with $17 cashback
        I got confused too haha

    • This is discounted $35 45GB plan which isn't eligible for $17 cashback.

  • +2

Thank you for posting. Can someone please confirm a process to buy an e-sim and still get the cashback. Because, for buying e-sim it takes us to boost app, instead off the website.
    Thanks.

    • +2

I'm thinking you won't be able to get cashback if you do that.

    • +1

"Cashback is not applicable for purchases made via the Boost Mobile app."

    • +1

You can't select a product of your choice and receive the cashback amount tied to a different product

      • -1

        Super unhelpful comment.

        • +4

I'm pointing out that the e-SIMs are classified as different product offerings, and even if they could be purchased from within the website it doesn't make them eligible for the cashback amount specified for a different item

    • +3

I think the only way is to convert it to an e-sim once you receive it

      • Could this impact cashback? Don't see anything relevant in the T&Cs.

  • +5

Don't forget to activate $2 bonus cashback challenge before purchase.

    • i don't see the challenge?

    • i did it but did not receive the confirmation

      • I got confirmation straight after my order tracked.

  • +1

If we have purchased from boost before are we still a new customer?

  • +1

    Thanks OP

  • +1

    Thank you!

  • Im a bit confused. The title says its for the 35GB 28-Day SIM. However, looking at the plans, it seems like its for the 60GB 28-Day SIM? Or am I looking at the wrong plan? Thank you!!

    • Title isn’t confused, look for the $45 SIM

    • +1

Yeah, first three recharges are 60GB thereafter 35GB fourth recharge onwards.

    • gotcha. im clear now. thanks OP!

  • +2

Something went wrong!! Anyway to fix?

  • $2 profit (from bonus) for first $45 60GB sim per account, no profit but free data thereafter

  • +1

    $17 tracked

  • Something is wrong. It charged me $35. Boost will refund the difference. That would mean that although the cashback has tracked, I am guessing that I will not receive any cashback, as the order was partially refunded.

    • +1

you didn't even buy the right SIM…..

      it's $17 cashback for $45 SIM with $28 off (cost $17)

      not $35 SIM @ $12.

the ladder only have $3.25 cashback.

      • +3

        Latter*

      • +3

There's some confusion in this deal as previously noted. Looks like some people are gonna get burned.

      • This is the only deal which comes up if you use their mobile website via the Shopback app. BTW, the offer has now changed to 60 GB for $17.

  • Is it $17 per recharge for 3 recharges or $17 for the first one and normal price for the next 2?

  • +1

    Thanks OP. $17 tracked

  • +1

    I'm getting error message, ozbargained?

    SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG

We’re sorry but we’re experiencing technical issues. Please try again later.

    • +1

me too, ill try a new browser maybe

      • did they add something to your delivery address after choosing from dropdown?
I changed it to different address and the order went through now. could be why.

        • Yes they did, ok ill try my home adress then

          • @neptunesdeals: nvm, still didn't work :/

            • @neptunesdeals: probably only works for certain addresses, weird glitch
I changed to my work address and they didn't add anything to that

              • @henrikoez: I had the same problem, it's just a glitch.
Do this: When putting your address click on "can't find address" option and then add it manually. Don't need to use a different address, simplu put it manually and it should work. Worked for me at least

                • @VaTo: Doesn't work for me. Each time I manually enter, I must "confirm my address". That erases everything. Can't move forward.

    • I got the same error. Then I entered my address manually. It still gave me same error.
Finally, I tried to post it to AusPost Parcel Locker, which it did not allow.

So I am now unable to order the SIM card. Never happened to me before, even though I have ordered loads of Boost annual and one-month use SIMs to same address in the past.

  • +1

    Got one. Thanks OP

  • as usual something ALWAYS went wrong

  • im still getting errors… "SORRY SOMETHING WENT WRONG"

have tried different browsers and different adresses.

Wondering if it's the email adress I'm using? some companies don't like .me adresses

    • I tried with my gmail as well .au email addresses, didnt work with either.

  • I cannot find the new challenge - $2 Bonus Cashback on $15 Min Spend, Activation Req, 1,000 rewards - Ends 25th March.

    • It's in the 'earn more' section!

      • Thanks. But I don’t have it. I only have “Pelago challenge” when I search new challenges.

  • +1

    Something went wrong again

  • How long does cashback usually take to be tracked with ShopBack?

Signed up for Shopback to jump on this deal about an hour ago but I've used Cashrewards before and IME it's usually pretty quick for your purchases to be tracked with them.

    • 20 minutes for me to track this time, just jumped from cashrewards as well

  • +1

I had the 'something went wrong' message as well, went back to change my email address and also replaced all the fields that were auto-filled.

This worked so it must have been one of the 2 things, hope this helps someone.

  • Worked for me! What happened to all the profit deals? Sad we have to rely on a bonus for profit now…

    • At least we still have those sweet sweet gigabytes. It's effectively saving me about $70 per month of NBN

  • +1

I keep getting something went wrong message. Tried different names phone number, email address Card number. Sh I use my neighbours address as a last resort? Thanks for advice

  • I kept getting the something went wrong error when checking out. Tried different email and mobile number but nothing works

    • Same. Also tried different name, address, card and different device with mobile data

  • ORDER COMPLETE
Your order details will be emailed to you shortly.

Shopback tracked within a couple of minutes

  • +1

    Thanks OP

  • +1

    Cashreward, I'm still waiting.

  • Is there a limit on how many $2 bonuses can be claimed (per ShopBack account)?

    • +1

It’s a challenge so once per acc

  • When you activate the SIM, do you need to use the same email address and name used for ordering the SIM?

    • +1

No, I've bought sim cards for family members.

      • They can use their own Boost account and email to activate their own SIM?

        • +1

          Yes.

  • it is now sold for $12. Does it means $5 profit?

It seems you can't buy esim card, as it requires to purchase through Boost app.

    • +2

Wrong SIM mate, it’s the $45 SIM, now discounted to $17

    • +2

That is $35 down to $12, you will not get $17 cashback on it.

    • +1

Sorry, this is the wrong sim card. I cancel the order via online chat and reorder the $45 sim card.

      Thanks OP!

  • Can you buy multiple and it tracks normally?

  • +1

Something went wrong like usual. Seems like Boost Mobile perma banned me :P

    • +1

I got it worked after 13 tries ! Had to manually change the address and used different emails. One of those worked in the end.

      • 13 tries

That would just increase the count of fraudulent. Tho it goes through, it's not worth it anymore or no juice after that.

  • I got screwrd over with this deal. Out of pocket like $7.

Oh well it's been good profits.

    • You screwed yourself mate.

  • +1

Thx BG grabbed one $45 sim

  • +1

Something did not go wrong this time! Been a few months since I last attempted buying a boost sim and seems I'm finally able to again.

  • Welp finally got my first "something went wrong". I guess that's the end of boost sims for me.

    • Just happened to me for first time in about a year of regularly buying Boost Deals. Couldn't buy for a month last time it happened.

Tried again with same details - order accepted.
Just a technical issue on their end.

      • Tried again just now, you're right, it went through with no problem. Thanks.

  • Usually, we see $$ profit in the title. Laughing at the previous $23 profit boost deal.

Another current $7.5 profit Lyca deal is still with information mismatch and tracking issue for most. Shobback team must be very busy lately haha.

  • I'm new to this. Got a visitor coming to AU next mth. Can I post this to them o/s, and they stick it in their phone at the airport and activate it w/o my assistance?

    • As long as they have: One valid form of ID - Australian driver’s license or learner’s permit, Medicare card, Australian passport, International passport with valid Australian visa.

To get your cashback, it needs activation within 31 days of ordering.

      • Terms say 30 days
