Assembly – Intermediate Kit, half of the included components are SMD but can be easy soldered using a regular iron (with a thin tip). A good first step into SMD components assembly, and a relaxing project with detailed pdf installation steps. Overall assembly took around 1hours.
Operation – It is pretty entertaining to watch, especially when music is playing. 8x8 matrix displays, support 12-hour and 24-hour formats. The clock is a good addition to your collection of digital timepieces.
Best features – Backup battery retains time during power failures. Battery is supplied. Dual USB connectors for either side or back connectivity. Cool sequential sound-driven visual effects, including a “graphic equalizer” effect and one mode which has a numeric indication of relative sound level.
