    APPLE 16" MacBook PRO 12-CORE M2 PRO 512GB SSD SPACE GREY MNW83X/A $2798 + Delivery @Binglee

Need to add RAM (GB): 16 to the description, so people can tell how overpriced this laptop is to them. /s

Legit, every MacBook deal. If you can't afford it, don't buy it.

        • Why only happening to Apple products

    • +1

They always make sure they are in attendance for arguments for ALL Apple posts.

'i can get 4tb, 64gb ram, i9 14900k cpu for the same price'

        ok mate.

    • +2

Agree. With the cost of living crisis hitting home for many people raging on ObZ about the cost of MacBook ram upgrades is cheaper than seeing a psychiatrist.

      • -4

        'Cost of living crisis' lol..

      • Aren't all they are doing with the laptop is to log onto Facebook? /s

        • Kids, the value of anything should be looked in:
          How much does it depreciate?
Would you buy laptop that depreciate $1000 a year or buy mac that depreciate $800 a year? Initial price is not the question, unless u plan to keep it forever and ever. If you are keeping it forever, then surely you are smart enough to pick the right laptop for your use case.

Same thing with property. Is property too expensive now? Well how much does it appreciate or depreciate? In the past 30y or more the price is always said to be crazy too much but yet it keeps going up. I bought a property that I thought was too expensive and a huge mistake but decades later I am laughing. You want cheap? Get rental, but you do know where that is going, dont you?

Another thing with these new Mx apple is that they are impossible to crack the password. Stolen laptops worth for parts only. Windows however easy to reformat and resell. For my use case that is great. For someone who often forgot their password maybe not very good to buy apple.

  • can this run fortnite with RT on

For comparison, 16" with 18GB RAM M3 Pro is $4300

not apple hater, I've had macbook pro in the past, but these days I can't justify the cost for something that can't play games and I can't update or repair myself

    • I don't game on my Mac but I think there are more AAA titles available (notably from Capcom) on MacOS these days than ever before.

    • +1

Yup, confirming it's not for everyone and not everyone can justify the cost.

I play BG3 on high or ultra details (I can't remember, I don't care that much) and other games on mine, while having the best quality hardware you can find on the market. Fingers crossed it doesn't die too soon. Like, in the next 7-8 years. And even if, I'd hope it's going to be fixed, even out of warranty, like Apple did for me a couple of times in the last 15 years.

Any Windows machine/system (ie. that's not natively unix-like) is not quite suitable for my professional needs; not to mention that to have such tightly integrated system and such quality of hardware, you'd probably need to get some Surface Pro, which is more expensive and inferior to these Macbooks. Unless one's priority is a touch screen. But it probably wouldn't help with the aforementioned games.

  • Super deal.. if the M3 drops to this price next year I might get that.
