Great price. I'm waiting for the Pro Ultra Max Plus Special Edition.

    • Gonna pick it up in your Toyota Camry Ultima Vienta CS V6?

  • +1

If I wasn't waiting for the maxv I would take it but it's going to be hard to justify paying $1000 more.
    Great price!

    • I'm in the same boat, but I feel like this vacuum is pretty flawed without the cameras it's obstacle avoidance is pretty bad.

      • Not really a problem for me, I have a S50 and I'm already happy with it.
It's more the new dock, cleaning the mop automatically at the base station, the camera… That makes life easier.

        • I also have an s50 and I could run it everyday when I lived alone in an apartment… But now with a baby in a house… Jesus, obstacles galore. Gets stuck everytime unless I spend a good 30 minutes moving all the chairs, and everything.

    • aww also want the maxv but it’s going to be 2600 on release. Not sure if I should buy now and wait till BF for the maxv.

  • Bought one for $2000 2 weeks ago :(
    Great deal though

    • How are you finding it?

      • +7

Well, they're not exactly doing cartwheels over that extra $300

It performs a lot better at mapping and traversing a large house compared to the Ecovacs X2. It tends to get stuck a lot less frequently as well which may be because it is smaller. My house is practically an obstacle course for these bots as it is both large and has many gaps (Underneath the sofa, chairs, beds etc). The lower height allows it to get in places with about 9.5cm of clearance (Ecovacs is about 11cm).

Overall it saves a ton of time cleaning the house and is a worthwhile investment. (If you value your time more than like $2 an hour, assuming you get 1000 hours worth of cleaning out of it. My house takes 2.5hrs for it to clean and it seems very effective based on the dirty water and amount of dust in the dustbin)
It does have a smaller water tank by comparison and requires more frequent refills.

Ecovacs tends to do a better job if you were to only perform 1 clean cycle per week kind of thing, and have a smaller cleaning area but I have them run every 2 days so cleaning effectiveness isn't as noticeable. The Ecovacs app also offers more options for cleaning compared to the Roborock like cleaning intervals, mop washing settings etc.

Price of these are crazy these days. I got the viomi S9 a few years ago for like $600. Don't know if I could justify the price increase.

  • +1

Any idea if jb will price match this?

I'll have to give it a crack tomorrow

  • whens it back in stock on amazon fml
    I have 1k credit

  • This or the QRevo MaxV?

Have mainly hardwood floors, no carpet.

Price difference is about $220 for the QRevo MaxV.

    • I'm trying to make the same decision, and similarly mostly floorboards. Have kids so object avoidance is important. Thoughts anyone?

      • For floorboards, I’d go with the S8. The rotatory mop pads are better for tiles but the vibration mop is better for floorboards based on most reviews I have read so far.

  • +1

qrevo for under 1300 and t20 omni for just over is probably better value for money.

shopback also has binglee giftcards for 5% off at the moment. bringing down the qrevo for about $1215.

    • How many giftcards can you use in 1 transaction? I checked and they're selling it at $100 cards ea, which means I'd need to redeem 13 cards to buy it.

I have thick carpets and my old S50 can’t keep up and keeps complaining abt an error. Will this work on thick carpets? Thanks

    • Read here about good agitation of carpet but 5mm automatic mop raise function.

  • Great price. Well done.

  • Thanks OP, another bargain purchase for me today.

    Great price !
Brings the Q revo to $1278 with the same promo code

    • Is it similar performance to the s8 ultra?

  • Great product at a great price with bonus extra year of warranty, SOLD

Additional $42.85 off with Topcashback 2.5%

  • Thanks OP, I was about to get the Q-Revo from JB and this changed my mind. Extra warranty is a nice bonus too.

looks like its OOS now too

  • I missed it, now showing out of stock. Great price OP

  • Damn it!! Took too long to decide and missed it.

would love to upgrade from my roborock s5, but the prices of these just seem insanely high. Are they really at least twice as good to justify the price?

  • Anyone get a screenshot of price? Would love to use for price protection.

    • +2

Ping me, can send you the screenshot of the invoice.

Says you're not currently accepting private messaging :(

  • Has anyone had their unit shipped yet? I have an order number but waiting for postage confirmation..

    • Same here, awaiting for postage confirmation.

    • Same… dodgy?

      • I sent an email to customer service and I got my postage confirmation today, waiting for the tracker to update. They apologised, they have been swamped after the long weekend.

    • I've got an auspost tracking number added to the phone app but I never received any emails from BingLee that my order had gone through.
Contacted twice BL and they said they resent the order emails but never received them… so weird.

      • Strange, I got my order confirmation straight after purchase and shipping confirmation via email today.. have they got the correct email address?

        • Yep, confirmed email address. Not going to junk/spam or have any rules to block it. It's a gmail address so it shouldn't be a problem lol

    • There has been a slight delay with orders for this item as stock was sold at a larger volume than expected, at the moment we are waiting for some stores to send us the stock, as well as the supplier to send us the stuck. ATM there is no ETA but when that information comes they’ll let us know. Here’s the information I’ve got from them

  • This is the response I got from them…..Your order is currently committed and in the queue to be processed for dispatch, due to the public holiday long weekend we are experiencing a slight delay due to an influx of orders and we apologise for this. We will endeavour to get your order dispatched as soon as possible.

  • +1

I just got the postage confirmation.

  • Mine finally got delivered today.

Does anyone know if there is anything we need to do to be eligible for the extra year of warranty? Is that offered by Bing Lee or Roborock?
