To be eligible to receive the eight weeks free offer (Offer) you must be a new HCF member who joins eligible combined hospital & extras cover between 25 March 2024 00:00 ADST and 21 April 2024 23:59 AEST (Offer period). Excludes Hospital Premium Gold cover, Corporate Hospital Premium Gold and Overseas Visitors Health Cover. Your cover must start during the Offer period, and you must not have been an HCF member 2 months prior to taking out the Offer. You must pay your first months' premium and maintain your policy for 1 month, which will entitle you to have the date your policy is paid to extended by six weeks; and after 12 months from the date you join us, you will be entitled to have the date your policy is paid to extended by an additional two weeks. HCF may take up to six weeks to process each extension. Offer is not available with any other join offer.

      Depends on how much 8 weeks of cover cost. My partners monthly cover is about 380 so 8 weeks of that is almost double of 400 cashback

        Don't need RAC membership to join HCF.

        Edit: someone mentioned in the comments below that there is another deal through One Big Switch that might be better. "The one big switch deal with $300 cash back and 8 weeks free".

      and Bupa specfifically excludes Dialysis for chronic kidney failure..HCF covers it..have to alwasy read the fine print! not sure what else is excluded .. will continue checking

      Absolutely! I think that the fund is decent - but I get annoyed seeing the lengths they'll go to for 'new' members. Thinking of dropping our cover and getting my partner to sign up.

    The One Big Switch offer has additional conditions, cannot have been a member for 6 months and have to keep hospital and extras for 4 months to get mastercard
