When going to the deal with the link provided, there seems to be no way of getting past a pop-up that demands your mobile number to sign up to SMS notifications.
    NO THANKS!!!

    • There is an X in the top right. Closed no issue for me.

      • +9

Even with the X, I have to admit sites with pop ups asking me to sign up to their newsletter give me the shits.

Imagine walking into a retail store and the first thing they said is "Can I get your email and we'll send you marketing material?" - why people think this is the best approach for online still blows me away.

Hello, I will look into how to make it clearer or remove from that page. Thanks for the feedback.

Had bad experience with this seller via their eBay store.

I had provided multiple opportunities to resolve issues.

The seller had initially sent the wrong item. Then when correct item was received, I asked seller about reimbursement for express shipping since due to the fault of the seller, I spent extra for a shipment method which was no longer possible due to their stuff up. The seller did not respond to my request to be refunded the difference.

Finally the item was defective, and I had sent a message to them to return item. Seller did not respond. eBay had to step in and approve the refund.

Imagine what a nightmare it would be going through a warranty claim with them as occurred to me. You'll receive radio silence and get the runaround.

Also if you are going to advertise on here, at least format the title correctly. Stop being lazy, expecting the mods to do it on your behalf each time. You should know better.

As a user of this site, I do like to hear of bad experiences others have had AND love that you've replied too. Sounds like a pretty average situation, and ebay is the missing party, but feedback is feedback and if it's helped to improve your business - great! Share what's been done to help ensure a situation like this doesn't repeat. You can't please everybody.

      • Hello,

Previously the eBay messages were actioned by one person. Now the messages are sent to all members of staff. Any escalations are handled within 24hrs as part of our KPI's. Unfortunately, when cases are escalated to eBay, we cannot action anything until eBay has made their decision, which disables us from handling the matter more quickly. Our eBay store currently has 99.3% positive Feedback

        • Unfortunately, when cases are escalated to eBay,

I never escalated it until it was clear that you were not going to respond to me. You had 4 days to respond and never did hence why eBay got involved. And case was opened a week after initially advising you of my issues. I had given you ample opportunities to rectify the situation.

          You never did.

Actually, they do. This is an independent bargains forum where consumers can share deals/bargains and their experiences. It's perfectly appropriate for someone who has had a negative experience to inform others about that.

This isn't a free advertising platform or space for you to control the narrative. Out of 10 most recent posts, none have gotten to double digit upvotes. Time to do better.

Yes, of course, I agree. What I do not agree with is being trolled.

        • +1

          I disagree,
First time I’ve seen this as user and I’m glad it’s being posted again and again for people to make informed decisions. Take responsibility for your stuff up and try to improve it rather than blaming customers.

        • +1

That is now a standard response from disgruntled merchants, and tends to be universally disregarded & laughed at. Try fixing the situation and posting actual bargains ie ones that get decent upvotes and not attempting to suppress discussion (protip: you won't) or falsely accuse users. The onus is on you as a merchant to do better.

Fix the problem then? And make them happy it was resolved 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
If you sent the wrong item then its is surely fair that express post is refined aswell since the item they wanted was not delivered express.
Now the second item is defective that's just terrible and you should do what you need to resolve it.
There's a difference between they unhappy customer from your mistakes and one that you just can't please.

        The problem has been fixed.

        • +4

The problem was never fixed by you actually. Refund was provided by eBay, not you. I never got what I bought and instead was shafted and wasted time dealing with you, having wrong item sent, then faulty and needing to return both items 2 x visits to AusPost.

Not even an apology by you was provided. You couldn't have given a toss quite frankly. I find it comical that your response times are quicker on OzBargain than on eBay, just because it's out in public.

@cute as duck: Kudos mate, we need users like you to report shitty rep behaviour, even moreso when they attempt to silence critics as though posting their advertisement spam here is a god-given right. I'm absolutely sick of the entitled attitude some reps display, and their laughable claims of "trolling" or "bullying" when users here speak out.

I've seen enough. Neg for terrible rep attitude & cheaper elsewhere as posted below.

However, it's clear you do not like us or our company, so please just leave us alone and don't purchase from us if you had a bad experience.

Don't tell me what to do. I will keep posting what my experience was like with dealing with your company.

What I do not agree with is being trolled.

Please. My comment on my experience was factual and what actually transpired. You never even got back to me to apologise for your stuff up after multiple messages.

I'll keep posting my experiences. You can't stop me. Thanks.

5 average upvotes per deal is pretty abysmal for an OzBargain rep.

  • Do you know if the rotary dimmer can be integrated into HomeKit, does it use the Tuya app?

    • Yes it uses the Tuya app. You can use Hoobs or Homebridge to use them in Homekit.

      • If you want to dim LEDs you will probably need to purchase a (Shelly) Dimmer Bypass to get the dimmer and wifi to work.

        • +1

Not sure why the neg on a very impotant consideration. Have 6 3W leds and not enough load for dimmer or wifi to work. So negging whole deal due to unjustified bias.

  • Any user manual for Eve MotionBlinds? What is the maximum supported length for roller blind?

    • Max. blind width. 2400mm. Max. blind drop. 2500mm

      • Thanks

  • Does the shelly record power readings?

    • Yes the PM versions do. Such as shelly 1pm plus or 2pm.

How come "Buy 4 Shelly Dimmer 2 Get 1 FREE" is 15% discounted?

It's just the full price of 4 x Shelly 2 which are the same price earlier and now.
    No deal here.

Hello, You buy 4 Dimmers and you get 1 for free.
    Shelly dimmer single unit is $47.99 * 4 =$191.96

If you are referring to the fact that the prices have increased from earlier in the year, that is true, as Shelly drastically increased the price to us. Unfortunately, after we finished our old stock, we had to raise the price. You will see this price is consistent with Shelly's euro store price when converted.

Hopefully, Shelly will release a new model soon as the dimmer is still in the gen1 range.
