      For those who enjoy the series it's likely more of a collectors item, OST itself of course depends on music taste

      I have this, as a record the pressing is excellent and well presented. The music depends on your tolerance for Japanese influenced jazz/choral music, but I think it's pretty good.

      Evangelion Finally. I only like Soul's Refrain and If I Can't Be Yours.
      Fly Me to the Moon is a travesty and nothing like the Evangelion version by Yoko Takahashi.
      Komm Susser Tod is a song you'd hear at a cult compound while the worshippers drink Kool Aid and burn the place down.

        Both fly me to the moons on Finally are by Yoko Takahashi, and the Acid Bossa version is one of the episode endings.

      If I were to buy it, I think I would listen to the vinyl once, then display the cover in my home so people who enter know that I'm into the anime with the mentally ill children.

      I do. Actually pretty good value for money as some of the songs are straight up banger while others can be depression-inducing.

    I assume everyone knows the band name means Gospel. And with songs about angels and biblical references genesis etc. and people saying songs are depressing. Helps us all to conclude it’s demonic. And probably not genuinely Japanese, but a US backing of some sort.

      The show is about angels and how humanity interacts with them and the dangers of trying to replace god with man made things. It's on Netflix if you would like to watch.
