$15.95 delivery for a potentially small item, which can be sent via small satchel with tracking that’s worth less than $11

Thanks for your feedback, as we always trying to keep our prices low, but Australian post has increased their shipping prices. it is a small item but within Retail packaging.

i hope this can clarify the shipping cost.

      Thanks

      • +5

You can still buy them at $106.30 for a 10 pack

The price rise is in relation to prepaid envelopes and domestic letters, not to their prepaid satchels

Good try but I did my research before I negged the deal

Thanks for reply, as you may know that Australian post sets limits for the size and thickness of the packages, however we have adjusted the shipping cost for you, please feel free to place your order.

          • @Dmozi: No thanks, $12.95 is still high. I’m not too sure if you have read what I linked above… $106.30 for a pack of 10 satchels means you should only charge your customers max $10.63-$10.70 for delivery, not $12.95…

You’re basically making extra profits by charging extra for your delivery

I’d suggest you read the Aus Post pricing list again and charge your customers fairly

            • @BargainsGrabber: if you are a serious buyer who wants to buy, let me know and i will charge you exact amount you asked $10.70

    Absolutely not.

Seven recall notices against Comsol products were issued in a single week last month.

You’d be crazy to buy any of their products right now:

Mate, i’ve worked with a Fortune 500 Consumer Technology company in Consumer Support Leadership, and I had to maintain annual professional development on global consumer and product safety laws over my six years with them.

Regardless of if this item is on the recall list or not, anyone with half a brain can figure out that a company with seven recall notices in a single month has systemic manufacturing, product quality and safety issues - and that no matter how cheap a product is, it wouldn’t be smart to buy it.

And any business that doesn’t realise this and continues to sell products of such a company, isn’t one any sensible consumer should spend a dime with.

Best you and your company sit this one out, because any post you make on this is just going to be digging a deeper and deeper hole.

So true. It's been years of issue too, Comsol don't seem to be making any changes with suppliers.

Just pay a bit more and get ugreen or Anker

Sounds like a lot until you see it's the same problem for seven similar products: "The wall plug can break off the main body of the charger exposing the internal wires."

Good on Comsol for clearly identifying the products with separate notices, rather than making people download a PDF to find affected product numbers like Toshiba's sixty-two Toshiba branded AC adapters: "The material inside the adapter’s DC-IN plug can degrade over time, which may cause the plug to overheat and catch fire."

The Comsol product issue requires an action to break the charger to cause danger, whereas the Toshiba product issue is a potential time bomb.
