Can be useful for those that prefer Oscar Wylee and are getting their annual glasses via Health Insurance, extra credit on the spend / claim. In-store only!

Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $250 or more, in one or more transactions, in-store only at participating Oscar Wylee locations by 31/05/2024 to receive one $50 credit. Limited to the first 20,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

Offer Terms

  • Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, in-store at participating Oscar Wylee locations. Offer valid at Australian locations only. Excludes online purchases.
  • Excludes purchases on Eye Care and Eye Health services (including, but not limited to, eye tests).
  • Not valid on online orders that are placed in-store.
  • Valid for payments made by 31/05/2024 to be eligible for offer.
  • Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
  • Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
  • Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
  • Credit should appear on your billing statement within 15 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.
  • Credit will not be applied to your Card Account if your Card has been suspended or cancelled.
  • Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled.

  • So we can pay on Amex card and claim it back from insurance provider? So free glasses?

    • It could be possible, depending on the value of the purchases and what your policy limits are! Kind of like using a shopback website, where you get some $ back after the purchase.

    • If needing to spend $250, it wont work for me (free). My health fund pays $200. So i wont get to the $250 amex spending. I'd need to spend extra money (at least $50) to get $200 plus the $50 cashback. I'd be better off going to Specsavers. But Ymmv unless someone else has a work around
