The transaction sale value reports to us in USD and is subject to currency conversion. Final cashback value is based on the exchange rate at the time of approval.

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

Upsold products such as NordPass & NordLocker.
Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.
Purchases made with Crypto currency.
Purchase of gift cards or use of gift cards for full or partial payment.
Purchase that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
Fraudulent transactions.
Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching.

      Cashback is on the basic plan only, contact their support for a refund and repurchase.

        thanks, ill just repurchase with a new email and hopefully the refund goes through. I probs lost out a bit on precessing and gst etc.
        Might use the VPN while i have it to purchase in a GST free area

          Sorry, was supposed to say the full cashback is on the basic plan only. You'll still get part of it on the more expensive plans I believe. Don't need VPN to pick a tax free country.

            @ldd-mn: hmm… might wait a little bit then before purchasing another then. Been about an hour and i still haven't seen it in cash rewards though. Some people here say they say it on the CR account within 30 mins

              @emresound: Yes, full cashback on basic plan only. "Cashback is ineligible on the following: Upsold products such as NordPass & NordLocker". The more expensive plans include NordPass and/or NordLocker.

    How difficult is it to get a refund from Nord? A couple of days ago I went with the 50% off offer from topcashback. Will there be any problems getting the offer with Cashrewards if I use the same credit card to buy Nord the last time?

      No, they don't care. Just different email address. Refund might take a few days to come though.

    @mods- May be this should be pinned, "Nord won't care if you click through your existing CR, TCB or SB account though which you've purchased before, only make sure to use a different email address." Could translate to "Nord only care for the customer base and possibly all the logs they're gonna get out of them."

    On a separate note, last time when they were having 97% CB, I mistakenly used the same email and it still tracked.

    So I bought it a second time after forgetting to change the country (sent cancel/refund email for the first). But I only received one tracking notice. It's been over 5 hours.

    I guess that means need to buy it a third time…

      Conversion rates and GST are excluded from cashback

      A tip from comments in previous posts is to select a country with no GST to save further at checkout as GST is ineligible for cashback.

    I signed up for the basic 2 yrs, which gave me free extra 3 months, charged $127.31 (USD$83.43) after choosing a non tax country Norfolk Islands.

    within an hour CashRewards app showed a pending cashback amount of $124.73

    Hey guys, is this normal or am i doing something wrong here. I have a gigabit FTTP plan. I usually get (depending on the PC / device) between 400-800Mbps. But I was testing out some speeds with or without NordVPN, And when i had Nord on, it dropped from like 400 down to like 80Mbps. At that kind of a hit, I dont really feel like having the VPN on much at all…
