    • Yes - 1 discount at each store, each month, up to $50 per store

      • Do insurance customers also get 1 x WW and 1 x Big W per month?

    • -2

Why not you join few years ago? You could save heaps

    • A normal family shopping will make this back in a weekly shop or two and still have another 10 or 11 months to go. It’s a no brainer

    • +4

You can also use the woolworths discount twice. One on online shopping then once in store. Just make sure you do your online order first.

      • +1

Do u have to use the in store discount relatively soon after the online or it will definitely be available to use in store up until the last day of the month

        • Havent left till the last day, but a little over a week i think is the longest I have tried.

      • I thought this ended a little while ago? No more online?

        • Thats the insurance benefit

        • Yep they brought online shopping redemption for everyday extra.

Other woolies services discount is in store only.

        • +2

They took it away briefly, got backlash and brought it back without fixing it so you can still use it twice (online then in-store), for now at least.

    • yes, I have saved $436 in 14 months or so

  • I wonder if I can cancel my acct, get a refund and then get this,

    • -2

no need , just create a new account

    • there's no way to find out

  • Do we get a free item every month? I haven’t been offered anything this month…

    • you're not missing much.
i was offered a pasta pack this month, didn't bother to take

      • I got microwave fries this month.

      • +4

Why would you say no to a nice packet of pasta?

    • I've got a box of rice pops ones.
      Then a pack of biscuits.
This months it was a pack of Arnot's teddy bear biscuits in chocolate…
      Better than nothing.

    • I didn't get an email, but found it in the app. A pack of pringles mini. 95g of mostly potato…

    • +1

Have multiple accounts and only use your everyday extra account once a month for the 10% discount or when your other accounts don't have good Booster deals 😉

    • Member since 2011, surely you’ve more than one Everyday account ;)

      • -1

No worries. If you alert people they neg you.

Let them realise on their own, it's really none of my business 😀

  • +2

    Thanks OP.

Luckily I'm still on the first month trial. Time to cancel and re-subscribe the yearly plan!

  • Oh wow, I'm dumb. Is this the Everyday thing that people are getting free items from that gets posted here nowdays, and they've discontinued offering that on regular Everyday Rewards?

I still get the coles freebie now and then but yeah, I realized it's been a good year or more since anything from woolies. Thought I was just on an extreme unlucky streak of not being targeted.
Damn. I must have missed the memo. 😅

For a calculated $3 a month I might give it a go, That 10% off once a month seems like it would pay for itself. cheers!

  • Forgive my ignorance but do the people with multiple accounts have their Qantas frequent flyer number attached to multiple accounts? Has anyone had an issue doing that?

    • -1

Risk being cancelled as per T&C of everyday rewards.
Make sure you have separate email and number per account

      • I think I will just have one account. I don’t get a lot of offers anyway.

  • Great deal.i have it, and get 10% each month, and collect double the reward points, some freebies.

  • If it doesnt get you free delivery, im wondering what is even the point of this??? Why lock yourself into a provider for 10% off 1 time a month and pay them 70 bucks a year for the provlidge? What am i missing?

    • You immediately cancel so it does not renew. So $3 for 10% off a shop. Works for me!

    • One you get enough points you also get $10 off a shop too. We do our shopping once a fortnight and with the 10% we usually get about $20 off the shop, pays for itself in a month give or take. We also have insurance with them aswell

      • +2

Yeah problem is their delivery fees are insane. They charge between $15 and $17 for delivery to me. Coles are the same distance away and charge $2 for offpeak slots and $5 or $7 for peak time slots. Not really worth it for me.

    • +3

That's the point of paid Extra - to lock people into shopping long term at their stores. (More than normal loyalty programs.)

Best to shop primarily on lower price, benefits (like points & discounts), convenience (including cheaper deliveries or close location).
Rather than "I've paid for a subscription, so I need to shop there"😜

In last week, I've shopped at Coles, Aldi, IGA, & Woolies - based on price, benefits (using Flybuys points + 10% off gift card with IGA + earning 9000 Woolies Rewards points & paying with points!), & convenience (IGA & Aldi are within walking distance).

    • how are you locked in? they don't arrest you if you shop at coles too

  • -4

10% off monopolistic pricing is still expensive. Just shop at ALDI or your local neighbourhood grocer.

    • +2

not sure if you can see the contradiction in your own statement…

  • -2

I just joined and it said $70 after the 30-day trial— will that be the case or will it be the $36?

    • +9

The post says it starts in 2 days ?

  • Mine expired a month ago, would i be able to get this or has to be new account?

  • I’m sad Woolies have ended 10% off pick up / online shops for other products - used to double dip…Does this still allow it?

First order online 10% off then subsequently 10% off in store shop? May be worth it then

    • They brought it back, but only for extra not on insurance. I have Woolworths insurance as well but can only use that in store.

I use my extra for first order online, subsequent in store x 2 (1 extra & 1 insurance) and then wife’s extra online and then in store so we basically get 10% off all our shops. 5 in total each month

      • Are you able to choose between the mobile discount and extra?

        • +1

I’m unsure on mobile as I don’t have that but when in store using self checkout it asks me if I want to use extra discount and then it asks me if I want to use insurance discount. I assume it’s the same if you have mobile discount.

        • +2

Yes, I have extra and mobile discount and I always do self-serve checkout. When I have both available, the system will first prompt me if I want to use my everyday extra discount and if I click no, it'll then come up with a second prompt asking if I want to use my mobile discount.

      • So technically double dipping with 10% off with extras is back again?

They didn't try to fix this by only allowing 10% off once with either in-store or online shops?

    • Who said it ended? It worked for me last month (using Everyday Extra 10% off online, then 10% off in-store). I haven't used it yet this month.

  • +1

    I don't get the $50 discount for Big W. I use it every month, and if I spend $1000, I get $100 discount……..

  • +1

Does anyone else have this stupid probelm where their everyday rewards card doesn't scan properly at the self serve and they don't get the 10% discount popup? it's occured to me like more than 4 times this year, and it's been an incredibly frustrating experience to the point that when my membership is done, i'm never shopping at woolworths again, even if they have this 10% deal.

    • +1

That sux, but I have never had this problem.

    • It happened to my wife once

  • +1

I've just cancelled my subscription which is due to end 5 May. Hoping that I can sign up again at this discounted rate. I've saved over $600 since becoming a member (excluding subscription fees). Definitely worthwhile for our household.

    • im going to do the same! hopefully it works

  • just had a look at my Rewards app and I found a 50% discount, bringing price down to $35 and also have a 30-day free trial ahead of that.. imagine this is because I've never subscribed to it before.

  • Are they currently doing $35 on the website?

Get 50% off an annual plan. Winning!

Now just $35 for the first year. New and returning subscribers only.⁺

    https://www.woolworthsrewards.com.au/extra.html

    • Thanks, amended the deal to reflect starting now :)

  • My plan ends 30 June 24. I assume that I can cancel at the end of May (or after I have used the 10% discount for the month) and renew before the 4 June 2024 deadline. Not going to get another card as this doubles my rewards points for all other purchases

    • +1

you might have lucked out as I believe you still have an active subscription until 30 June 24.
Maybe speak to support and see if they can be nice about it.

      • Damn

    • Just sign up with a new account, with a different email address (and maybe mobile number).

  • Great! Just renewed for $70 a week ago and now this appears…..

    • +2

I'm in the same boat. Messaged on live chat and they offered me 4000 EDR points as a "goodwill" gesture.

      • Thats cool! Which live chat? The one on the everday extra website?

        • +1

          just the everyday rewards website.

  • If we are already members can we cancel and then renew at the 50% ?

  • -2

Can i port my Vodsfone number over?

  • +1

Can 10% discount stack with https://mobile.everyday.com.au/instore-points-offer
    For Everyday mobile sim.

    • Yep there’s another comment above that confirms it.

      • it doesn't stack you can get 10% off on two separate shops though

  • +1

Thanks OP I already have mobile with WW didn’t realise til now if I join EE I would get another 10% - plus used someone’s referral for bonus points :)

  • I already have Woolworths car insurance for two different cars which gives me 10% off twice every month, this is probably worth it if you don’t already get 10% off

    • Free item monthly would be the other benefit, only if they are items that you use and their value adds up to >$35 over the course of the year. You'll need to remember to go get this free item too (won't be delivered to you on its own!).

  • +1

'Free item from Woolworths every month' - I don't believe this to be entirely true so it should be removed from the original post, unless this is stated somewhere on the Woolworths website?

Some months back I and others didn't receive the 'free monthly perk' and I jumped on live chat to ask about it and they confirmed there was no guarantee or mention of it being monthly, more like random whenever you are targetted/offered it. Granted, the last few months I have received a perk every month, but there is no guarantee it will be every month nor has it been in the past.

    • I bet the free item is based on your monthly spend , if you spend $30 a month they aren’t going to give you a free tin of Nescafé lol

  • Just jumped on it since it's already live, automatically gave me a free 30 day trial at the head too and my billing doesn't start until May.
    Not too shabby

  • Does anyone know if I have a current subscription that runs out in November, but I have canceled the auto-renewal will I be able to add another 12 months with this deal or do I need to wait until my current subscription expirers?

    • +1

You need to wait for it to expire. Deal ends in June unfortunately though

    • I don't think that you can cancel the auto-renewal now, for a plan running until November.

      The T&C say this:
"The Everyday Extra Subscription is an ongoing subscription. Your subscription, as well as your obligation to pay the Subscription Payments, will continue to auto-renew at the end of the Subscription Period unless you give us notice prior to your next Billing Date that you wish to cancel."

  • +1

Worth a ping at $35 a year, thanks OP.

  • its very good deal ! I been waiting for it for long time

  • Do you get 10% back if your biggest purchase include a gift card? Anyone knows?

    • +1

      No GC

  • They stopped sending me offers on all three of my cards so i have been shopping at Coles where I am still getting great offers. Might give this a go on one account and see if anything changes.

  • -1

Does 10% off apply on gift cards?

  • My billing cycle is due 20 April, cancelled now, will try my luck on Sunday when current sub ends

    • it worked 👌

      • +1

Did you cancel before your billing cycle and sign up for the annual option, or do it after your billing cycle ended?

        • +3

Yes, cancelled 2 days before billing cycle(had previously used April’s 10%off), membership continued until Sat(last day) and Sunday I reactivated Extra with 50%off and also had the 2 monthly coupons reset, I can now use a second 10% off coupon at Woolies and BigW for the month of April !!!

  • I don't know if this is worth it since I already get the normal 10% off from mobile.

The only way I can see this being beneficial to myself is by cancelling woolworths mobile and then paying for this instead… However, it goes back up to $70 a year eventually which means I only have ~$80 a year to spend on mobile. I also lose a few months of woolworths mobile since I'm on a long expiry prepaid plan…

    Has anyone made the jump?

    • I haven’t made the jump either as I have two seperate cars with Woolworths insurance , I already get 10% off twice a month, this offer also doesn’t give any sort of delivery discount either

    • I have WW Mobile but I'm still considering getting it. It only requires a second $30 shop per month to break even, and that's before any bonuses like points, free products. I thought the free pack of pasta this month was very nice (I am on a one-month trial), I can't believe someone above said the pasta wasn't worth the effort lol
