It has been that price for a while now. Still a great price thoughAdd it to the cart on Amazon UK and it will become GBP 17.49 VAT free at checkout so it's actually cheaper on Amazon UK for Australians than it is on sendit.com

It's not in stock at Zavvi and usually despatched within 2 weeks. That's quite a wait. Plus Zavvi's price for Pirates of the Caribbean blu-ray box set is £19.95 (yes looks like it just went up in price) so this makes Amazons UK price of £17.49 VAT free a tempting offer. Still a heck of a lot cheaper than if you were to buy it from JB Hi-Fi for $90.99 and i saw it on the shelf at Kmart yesterday for $100 too.
Considering the VAT free price and it being in stock ready for despatch on the same day i think this is a better deal at Amazon UK rather than Zavvi.
Zavvi usually gets regular supplies of the blu ray box set so I doubt that you would have to wait that long anyway. I ordered it for $24 a few months ago off Zavvi and got it very quickly. That being said, Amazon
is faster so it depends on whether Ozbargainers are willing to pay $9 more to get it a week or two earlier.Yeah the standard post from Amazon UK i find is quite efficient unless it goes through DHL post which then it can take a month to arrive. Some times i get the parcel through Royal Mail as soon as just over a weeks time from despatch but it's always been by a week and a half so i think the Amazon UK standard post through Royal Mail is actually air mail. I think Zavvi however sends theres through the most cheapest and slowest postage option sea post snail mail which is why you only pay £1 for postage and why you wait weeks for it to arrive. Whereas from Amazon UK you could have it in your hands weeks earlier for just an extra £2.58 over Zavvi's postage price. So which is really the better deal i think it's from Amazon UK considering the VAT free price at checkout and the fast postage.
Although it is not just an extra £2.58 - the total extra cost for buying from Amazon is almost $10, or about 40% more then Zavvi.
I mean the postage from Amazon UK is only an extra £2.58 over Zavvi's postage price but Amazons postage is air mail whereas Zavvi's postage isn't. And Pirates of the Caribbean 4 movie box set at Zavvi is £19.95 whereas at Amazon UK it's £17.49 tax free price and the total price including postage is £21.07 and so it works out about the same price at Amazon UK and Zavvi in the end. But the benefit of Amazon is that the standard post is sent through Air Mail which arrives a lot quicker. So the total cost from Amazon is not almost $10 more it's just about the same. So you're basically better off buying it from Amazon UK at the moment considering you get better and faster postage. Might as well get it weeks sooner for the same price since from Amazon UK you'll be holding it in your hands before Zavvi even sends it since they have no stock. The Amazon UK deal is great if you want to guarantee you'll get it before christmas for a present.
I ordered my Pirates of the Caribbean 1-4 blu-ray box set from Amazon UK yesterday and it's already on the way to me all for total of £21.07 delivered.
