    Shame it's only for white.

    • +7

Sometimes white is exactly the colour you need to keep someone happy.

      • Once you go white, everything else is sh*te

  • Crazy good price! Thanks!

Decent mouse @ this price. Feels bit too heavy for me tho.

  • +2

I bought this recently and got pretty bad cramps. Shame because I think it looks quite good and I like logitechs

Ended up going for a Lamzu Thorn

    • absolutely based

  • For $100 this is really good.

  • How does this compare to the MX Master 3s?

    • +2

      Different use cases.

This is designed for gaming, the MX Master is meant for productivity.

    • +2

One is gaming focus and one is more productivity focus, some people also don't want to be make fun of by old management team rocking a gaming mouse in the office.

So, long story short, why not both?

      • I would suggest a g604 if you want a hybrid gaming / productivity mouse.

    • +1

I would say they're in different classes. I have an MX Master 3 at work, and it's a great mouse, but I personally wouldn't buy it for gaming. Reason being the MX Masters have a sensor which refreshes a lot slower (125hz vs 1000hz). Apart from the obvious disadvantages, it's easy to spot on high-refresh rate displays.

Design is comparable, I wouldn't give the edge to one or the other - but the 'Sniper' and DPI buttons are handy. I quite like the extra buttons under the index finger, but some don't.

Personally, I'd choose the MX Master if I was only doing productivity with it.

    • Lower latency on this compared to the MX Master 3s

    • +2

I use this mouse (the wired version) the for productivity.

Note this mouse isn't compatible with logitech options/+ software, it needs the logitech GHub software which is not very productivity focused.

This mouse doesn't have gestures like MX series, but it does have a crap ton of buttons which I've used to program macros using Ghub to do pretty much the same thing, but it's not for everyone.

If you're ok with tinkering, this is OK, otherwise just go with the MX.

  • +1

I would prefer this mouse but the multi-system utility of the logitech bolt receivers mean I have to stick with the mx master 3s.

WHY haven't logitech unified on a single receiver platform yet.

    • Because too many legacy mice out there on Logitech Unify receivers

Thank you OP! been wanting to replace my og G502!

  • +1

Missed my old pal g502 lightspeed and the times. A thought once came up in my mind about a new mouse here we go! But a new successor won't hurt and a new page.

  • +1

EZ buy, thanks OP! I have been thinking of replacing my OG old wired G502 Proteus from 2015. This would do nicely :D

  • +3

Already have an Mx master 3s but got this anyway cos can't give up a good deal

  • +1

Got this, for undr 100, awesome deal, i have a g502 lightspeed i will use for other sttufff and keep this new mouse for new fun stuff.

  • Does this still lag for a wireless mouse?

  • How many of these bricks do I need to build a house?

  • Bummer, scrolled past this yesterday without even realising! Woulda been a nice upgrade after some older ones have stopped working.

    • Don't beat yourself about it, you haven't missed out on much. Its heavy, the software sucks and the original "skates" are pretty ordinary. There are better alternatives out there ~$100-150.

      • Good to know! Thanks for the feel good either way haha. I must admit the Razer branded stuff can be pretty crappy software wise but personally hardware wise I’ve had no issues. I have mice ten years old still going strong. I know not everyone has had that same experience mind you. Also their software absolutely sucks sometimes. Like just truly sucks.

Unfortunately some parts of the mouse like the various plastics/rubbers eventually give out. And also, who doesn’t love that new mouse feel…

        • The new basilisk x v3 looks very tempting. And ends up below 100g with a AAA lithium mod… Been tempted for ages.

Currently $99 but it hits $88 super commonly.

      • The Logitech Onboard Memory Manager app is a lot better than the bloaty G Hub software.

      • What is a good alternative to suit a larger hand?

        • G pro wireless.

          • @Todes Angst: I didn't really want to go back to this range, seems the scroll wheel always breaks after a few years, it did on two of mine.

            • @samfisher5986: They seem to have fixed this but you can install a hot swap PCB which has the scroll wheel encoder and new switches to fix it.

  • Was pondering whether to buy this, but I still have my $49 G Pro Wireless here. So passed on it, especially since it wouldn't stay white in colour for long.

    • Not worth upgrading to as it's much heavier than the GPro

      • I came from a Performance MX, so it wouldn't be too bad as I find the G Pro Wireless super light. But I guess the question would be whether I needed another mouse of a colour that I don't like since I have the LoL G Pro Wireless already

  • Damn, was in the market for a mouse and got the G502 wireless. Returned it once I learned it had a micro USB in 2024.
