10 months for postage and it will work out fine

    • +7

Or…maybe they're made from springs. You know - "spring" flowers. Erh… never mind.

      • I see what you did there.

Going to send one to my neighbour who never empties/checks their mail box.

  • I would love a couple of these to send to my friends overseas as its such a great way for them to get a living thing from Australia and well my friends are in a very poor area so this would be amazing. I would even pay for some but I will not and do not want to join Facebook :(

  • -6

WOW yes I agree Chadparis I would like some as well buy i along with a minority refuse to be caught up in Facebook grrrrrrrrr shame that's the only way to get some :(

    • +6

It's still a good deal regardless of what you think about it being done through Facebook.

    • +2

So have a fake FB account for the sake of freebies then.
Don't use your real email, don't use your real name, don't add your friends, don't log in unless for freebies or deals, don't whinge. Simple.

  • +10

wow, i didnt realise making a fake facebook account was such a bother for some people.
seriously, all you have to do is make a fake account and like a page to get the free stuff.
you dont need to have a genuine account, add your real life friends, post on peoples wall, attend their housewarming parties and play farmville with them.
make a fake fb account and only use it when you need to get something for free from fb.

It does also violate Facebook's usage policy…. just saying

      • +9

i spit on their usage policy

besides, they're happy to get more users, as it makes them look more popular.
they'll be happy to take fake users, although they prefer genuine users so they can data-mine and ad-target you.

Adblock browser extension for the win!

        • +3

Facebook were more than happy to accept an account for my girlfriends cat, the cat even has 100 Facebook cat friend (thanks to crazy cat lady down the road). I always laugh when the media reports that Facebook has 1 billion users.

    • You used to need a valid mobile phone number to create a FB account (they sent a validation code). It was easier to create one in the past, harder now.

      • Does grandma have a mobile?

        • +1

Just a pacemaker ;-) Doesn't worry me (re: FB) but just FYI as account signup processes vary over time and FB like to change things around a lot

      • I made a fake one the other day. Didnt need a phone number?

  • I do not need to lie and create an account to use the good will of people. You may think its ok but they dio this to advertise and promote their facebook page so by creating a fake account is ripping of this kind business offer to send you the card.

  • I agree I do not want to lie. that's what you are doing its a lie if you have a fake account and you are ripping of La Zuppa by friending with a fake account. The want Facebook friends to promote to your friends and if its a fake account you have no friends so you are as I said ripping the company off. I do not see the need to lie to obtain a postcard for free. I would rather pay for it than lie…

lets say you like them, and then it turns out that they spam you and the free item is rubbish.
you have just lied to all your friends by letting them know via facebook that you like that particular page. you unlike the page but the damage is already done.

or you can claim the free thing with a fake account.
if everything turns out good, then you can tell people about it in real life, which has a higher value than a facebook like.
im much more inclined to trust word of mouth from a friend than from seeing that someone 'liked' something on fb.

i think you are assuming that all these companies that give away something are genuine, honest and being downright nice.
some of them arent. they wont send the item, and will spam the crap out of you.

    • +4

Can you not promote to your friends via good old fashioned word of mouth? Tell people at work etc? Facebook isn't the be all and end all.

    • +3

maybe i i see it a bit differently….. but isnt clicking "like" (saying you like the company) just to get free stuff from a company you know nothing about, who is bribing you to lie to your friends by sending you random free stuff just as dishonest as making a fake facebook account?

    Great find kevin8441. :)

  • Thanks for the positive feedback, i posted another freebie that i found for Sunday so keep a eye out for it

  • The app seems to get stuck on the loading thing when I submit it. :S

    • still works fine for me

      • I will try in IE 10. Yep… worked a treat.

        • worked for me in FireFox and chrome just then

        • Yea, I reckon it was because on Firefox I have Adblock set to block all FB plugins. That way they can't track me when I'm not on Facebook.

    • Mine got stuck when I used Chrome, works fine with Firefox

    • +1

Worked fine here too, Facebook seems laggy in general though.

Probably because we Ozbargained them ;)

      • +1

Going by that logic, OB must have better servers than FB. :/

        • DDoS, OzB is quite well distributed! :)

  • got mine today, another gift for the parents!

    • Mine arrived today, looking fwd to finding out what spring flowers will grow!

  • Received mine in the mail a couple of days back! Thanks OP :)

I'm really curious to know what kind of flowers they are..
