This is a grey key sold by a third party "Retail King" on Stacksocial platform.

Lot of money for a not legit key. :/

  • Why pay $7USD?

  • +3

$51 for a grey key that will last who knows how long after being activated is not a bargain sorry.

If you're going to use shonky keys you might as well pirate and not give money to some random middleman.

    • pretty much this, idk how much grey keys normally are but they used to be like $10.

    • it is legit. just for a new build pc.

      • How exactly have you come to the conclusion this is a legit OEM license?

If it was a legit OEM key it wouldn’t have this condition “ Key must be redeemed within 30 days”. Probably a volume license and the 30 days requirement is because they know the account will get shutdown within that time.

because it says so. got an evidence that it's not?

Stack Social usually has a 30days to redeem condition on all software/services they sell.

But rather then just making stuff up, If you did a few minutes of research you'd see they're sold by
          Retail King
          https://retailking.com/pages/about-us

which is a subsidiary of Mastertronics
          which is a Microsoft Partner

          https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/partner-di…

it was all in the Stack Social page.

          Apologies accepted.

@M00Cow: Of course they’re a partner, how else would they get the volume licenses they’re probably selling.

          • @M00Cow: Ratioed 1:6 and thinking apologies are in order…

Not legit to use these keys in this way

    • -1

      how do you know?

in the EU, they're legally allowed to split volume licences. but they should be ~€10

  • How does this differ from Electronic First @ $9.99?

    https://www.electronicfirst.com/windows-11-professional-reta…

I've bought a few of these, on the presumption they'd be shit canned over time by Microsoft. So far so good though.

    • probably no different.

  • This is for people who aren't smart enough to pirate properly but still want to pirate

  • +1

    This is illegal.
