Chances are by the time you get your item it will be christmas next year. Good early order deal for 2013.

    • Whilst probably not a valid enough reason for a neg, you're pretty right. This time of the year is anecdotally a bad time to order with COTD in my experience.

In their defence it's no doubt a busy time for them; however, they do a pretty half-assed job of handling it & make a lot of mistakes IME.

  • Sweet, i just used it buy some sheets. The 1000TC Canningvale set is so amazing. I bought some 6 months ago and now am getting some more.
For a 1000TC Queen set, under $90 is a unbelievable. And Canningvale is a great brand!!

    • I bought the same sheets a few months back. Was very disappointed. Were the worst 1000TC sheets I have ever bought. They pilled up after about 2 weeks. The Target 1000TC sheets I had for 3 years hit them for 6.

A lot of OzB'ers have reported this about the COTD 1000TC sheet sets in the past IIRC.

aside from a few good deals on tech and luggage sets most of the stuff on cotd seems to be overpriced junk you can find in $2 shops. Even brand-name stuff aren't always legit. ordered some parker pens last time and the quality was shocking. wouldn't have touched it for 50c let alone the $20 or something ridiculous they charged.

    • Yep, they do a lot of shonky stuff like getting manufacturer bundles & splitting up the components, then selling them at a 'reduced' price only to make it up again with additional shipping on the partner component…dodgy.
