I remember people mentioning that they add water to this and make the foaming version and it works equally well. Never tried tho.
That's right, I do it all the time and never buy foaming soap.
Add a quarter to a third of this and the rest water. Importantly, make sure you shake and mix it very well because the mechanism for foaming the liquid is quite delicate (two fine meshes) and the thick soap can and does ruin the meshes if not mixed. Occasionally you will have to buy new foaming bottles as they do wear or and break.
After a while, wont the soap settle down at the bottom? I thought foam liquid had a slightly different base to prevent it.
@John Doh: I have not noticed that. It seems to mix (or should I say, dissolve) well, which makes sense given you are dissolving soap into water. It wouldn't 'split' back.
I always do that
Same price as the everyday supermarket labels, or frequent 50% off, same generic recipe: water + sodium laural sulfate + colour & perfume.

Na this water and SLS is Thai quality, unlike the cheap nasty homebrand that is water and SLS and made in Thailand probably in the same factory. A lot of this inflation gouging is people not willing to read labels or buy cheaper stuff. I've seen people refuse identical products because it was too cheap. Generic drugs work worse than name brand and are worth 5x the cost because the package looks nicer etc.

I was being sarcastic, both name brand and home brand are basically identical and made in same place. But people will pay way more for name brand is allowing gouging.
Always had trouble getting all the soap out of these bottles. 😏
