      No still waiting… pretty jacked off with JB.. won't be preordering anything again if this is what happens… can't understand why some get it straight away in store and others have to wait so long.. surely once it is flagged as collected on the system, what are they waiting for!!??!!

        There isn't even a mention of the voucher on the invoice or any communication from JB confirming it's on the way. Pretty poor form

          If people buying in store didn’t know about the $200 gift card they probably walked way without one.
          I had to mentioned after paying and they didn’t know about it and had to call a manager to confirm.

          • @snvl: Same here i had to mention when buying in store to provide gift card after purchase! They were pretending as if they don’t know about it and had to confirm with other staff.

      I cancelled my $1 trade-in and they cancelled my $1 voucher immediately without any hassle.

          I just replied to the email offer they sent. I made sure to use the $300 coupon first. It was easy.

      Got the OtterBox case for $28. Price matched via jb hi-fi commercial.

    • I bought the $12 one from Amazon and absolutely no issues, it fits perfectly and is completely aligned.

  • what expired $200 off or $300 credit, asking as my order went through at 00:00 got the $300 off not sure about the $200 gift card now.

    • The $300 bonus trade in coupon expires on the 29th so that is still current, however you no longer receive a $200 JB gift voucher as well (no banner showing on the page anymore).

      • I have used the discount link to purchase, which expired at midnight. So my order must have gone through before midnight. But the email confirmation is at 00:00. I will ask in live chat. Does the email confirmation mentions anything about the $200 gift card?

  • My phone purchased using this has a major battery problem. It overheats and battery runs out just in a couple of hours.

    While holding and browsing a few pages and sending an email it will burn your hand guaranteed.

    Personally I haven't even seen it charged to 100% once because it also charges very slowly.

    Would jbhifi accept a return in these circumstances? Also, is this the same for all pixel 8a?

      Hey mate. I picked the 8a up and it has been very smooth, and the battery has been great. Sounds like a fault. You should def return it asap. Also, you might be able to view the battery usage data, which you could show jb staff incase the ask.

      Yeah. It's 14th day today, picked up Pixel 8a on May 14th mrng. Hopefully we all will receive today or tomorrow.

    RE: delay in $200 gift card.

    Spoke With Emily on the JB HI FI online chat strapping young lass who was very helpful.
    She confirmed there is a delay in getting the gift cards out due to a technical issue and they are in the processing of getting these out ASAP.

  • Received my JB Hi-Fi $200 eGift Card. Order Completed on 22/05. Gift Card received on 06/06. So about 14 days for me.
