The previous KFC hack has been patched on iOS (but apparently its still working in Android when I tried it on my wife’s phone later on that day).

However, I found the work around accidentally when getting frustrated trying the previous hack. Works on both iOS and Android.

Here you go:

  1. Open your KFC apps and navigate to Menu > Shared Meals.
  2. Add any of the Shared Meals by pressing Add to Order.
  3. Keep pressing Add to Order until it glitches out, and the screen will go to Cart automatically. You should see 2 or 3 shared meals in cart.
  4. Remove shared meals from your cart.
  5. Go back to Menu and you will see Add-On pop up. Add any Add-On as you wish.
  6. Go back to cart and check out.

Note: you can add up to multiple 4x Piece Original Chicken and modify to Hot and Spicy as well.

      Maybe it's their marketing strategy
      Make people think it's a hack so that people think they should try quickly before the system issue is resolved. But it will never be resolved because that's what they intended it to happen

    I don’t have auto updates on so haven’t updated the kfc app yet, but can confirm previous hack still works on iOS on that previous version app

    This one seems less fidgety though so might switch to this

    Tested on Android phone and its works. However, I can't find a way to modify to Hot and Spicy. There is no option when I reduce the Original from 4. Probably store dependent.

    If you have more people to share, I think the current promo offer $14.95 9 pieces of Original, 2 regular chops and regular gravy would be a better deal. Otherwise, great find OP.

      Looks like the current promo is targetted. I'm being KFC fan didn't get the last 9pcs Chicken for $14.95 :( perhaps I ordered too often.

      I guess roast chickens at ColesWorth are healthier but not as tasty as KFC. And 9 PC's deal is a good deal. Hard to decide

      I tried it last night, they add tiny pieces along with the bigger pieces. some of them hardly qualify as even 1/3 the size. I'm not sure if they do the same with a smaller amount of chicken.

    It's interesting but for $14.95 you can order 9 pieces of chicken+2 chips+gravy with the online deal! Isn't it better value for money?

      I don't think this deal is bringing back hot and spicy - it's just wherever it's already available and you can modify the order to hot and spicy eg George St in Sydney.

        I often find the order short, missing chips or drink. if picking up, drinks you noice before leaving, chips missing is not always obvious.

    Not in Australia but I thought I share some interesting KFC news.

    KFC Singapore is commemorating the International Fried Chicken Day, and will have its second edition of the Unlimited Chicken Feast from 3rd to 5th July at 5 selected outlets.

    Diners can expect unlimited fried chicken and a variety of sauces including Original Recipe Sauce, Cheese Sauce, Mayonnaise, Chipotle BBQ Sauce, with new sauces Mentaiko Mayo and Hot Sauce.

    New sides like Shaker Fries and Shaker Popcorn Chicken with seasonings like Spicy Texas BBQ, and Cheese and Onion are also part of the offering.

    I wish we have these sort of promotions here.

      It used to be a permanent thing in some restaurants around Sydney - I remember going to one and there was unlimited chicken as well as a large collection of sides and salads, and not that expensive either!

    The original doesn’t work but works pretty easily once you get the hang of it.

    It has an advantage that you can order multiple extras.

    I was about to order the 5 tenders for $7.45 and a large chips for $4.95 ($12.40 total) in one order.

    Do you find that the 3rd piece is usually a bit smaller, and the 4th is practically half sized? I had a piece that was a wing about 6cm long. What tiny chicken did it come from?
    I don't like buying more than 2pc anymore.

      I think I heard that they have a manual for that. They can't just give you large ones only. Yeah… I think it might be better to order no more than 2 pieces. But I guess it also depends on the staff as well.

        I find usually I need 3pc.
        If I'm extra hungry I order 4 pieces and the last two pieces shrink, ending with the same as before.
        Even the wings are larger.

        I go Korean FC now, all same sized pieces.

    I moved away from QLD to NSW and I think the thing I miss the most is permanent hot&spicy at KFC. I really don't understand why they can't do it nationwide. Or at the very least drop it in all stores once a year (like they did around 2022)…

    Seems they've killed the hack, removing the shared meal also deletes the add ons 😩
