OK - now that I've got that out of my system…oh, and this better not be a dupe, cause it took me ten minutes to come up with that.

  • 1 nights accommodation plus return flight for 1 person, or 2 nights plus return flights for 2 people (linked booking) in 3.5 to 4 star hotel
  • $30 booking fee applies per person
  • The offer commences on 1 November 2012 and closes on 30 November 2012
  • Each Mystery Trip must be booked by 31 December 2012 and must be taken between 1 February 2013 and 30 November 2013 (inclusive)
  • Travel ‘blackout’ periods applying including the periods between 13 March 2013 and 18 March 2013 (inclusive) and between 28 March 2013 and 2 April 2013 (inclusive)

I bought 2 x 6 packs for $120, so for me and the wife, it is a total of $180 for 12 bottles of wine plus 2 nights accommodation with return flights :)

We scored ours over a public holiday, and friends have theirs booked in the school holidays.

Took about 7 working days from first sending off for the deal to getting confirmation of our dates of departure.

The guys from the bottle shop said the Jacobs Creek rep advised the trips from Perth will be with Virgin to Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne…not sure about other cities.

The stickers may be in an envelope under the counter, although most of my friends have found stickered bottles.

    Just got 12 from Cellabrations in blakehurst, he has plenty left, stickers under counter. Went to a few other bottle shops and they had no idea about the promotion.

      Just grabbed 12 from Blakehurst, they were really friendly and knew exactly what to do (put through 2 separate purchases without me asking!), they even carried it to the car for me :P

    Got the last two cases at Baulkham Hills Cellarbrations.
    North Rocks 1st Choice Liquor say they will be getting in more stock tomorrow but I'm not sure if they'll have stickers on them or not.

    Picked up the last two from Dan Murphy's willoughby. Not sure what I will do those, having not realised six were needed in a single transaction. A friend has three, so if anyone has an extra label they want to sell I can make it happen.

    FYI there are no labelled bottles left at first choice narrenburn, bws mossman and neutral bay, chambers cellars neutral bay or Dan Murphy's manly vale.

    If you're in Sydney there are heaps of sav blanc and pinots in boxes at Thornleigh Dan Murphys underneath where the individual bottles are shelved! Keep an eye out for staff though as I was told off for ripping open each box to find ones with stickers on them hahaha…..luckily by the time I was told to stop I already found a dozen :)

    The wine is actually quite delicious so they have earned their money back from a partial wine drinker who will pick up that $10 bottle if I feel in the mood for it from now on.

    New to this site, was unsure if I should declare myself rep or not since I am associated but not representing Jacob's Creek, if I shouldn't be a rep, ignore the tag.

    We have 8 cases worth of stickers available at Cellarbrations Mt Waverley, but only about 4 cases of stock if I remember. Will work on getting some more stock tomorrow and for next week, along as some more stickers if possible from my rep. Sold about 20 cases today, all in about 3 hours but none previously. The stock was delayed by almost two weeks from the supplier so that may explain some places not having it.

    I didn't know I need to ask for separate 2 receipts until I came back and read the posts again. I got 12 in one transaction. Thanks for posting the email from Mystery Flights Reservation Team. I am relieved now.

    In TAS, I picked up 6 @ BWS Maypole Wednesday night, then another 6 at BWS in Davey St on Thursday morning. Maypole had 2 stickered bottles left, and Davey St (Hotel Soho/Aberfeldy) may have had 2 boxes left with stickers, he wasn't quite sure. Sending off my redemptions today :).

    Cellarbrations at Blacktown (80 Reservoir Road) still have a few cases of the Sav Blanc and Rose. They haven't put the stickers on the bottles, so just ask the staff for them when you purchase as they're behind the counter.

    hey guys, for those who purchased 12 bottles on the one receipt, this is an email response i got from support:

    Thank you for your email.

    You need to make sure that each person has a claim number for the Mystery Trip. If you send in 12 stickers, 1 receipt showing the 12 bottles and the 2 claim numbers in one envelope for validation this will be fine. Once your claim has been validated you will then need to link your bookings. If you do not link your bookings you will not be travelling together.

    Sold out at Cellarbrations Mt Waverley. Many, many calls this morning, have also sold the extra stickers we had and managed to secure some for a lady who had missed out by a few minutes.

    My Cellarbrations rep got onto head office and as far as I know, there won't be any more stickers issued, so whatever is out there, that's all there is but if it turns out there will be more, I will let you guys know.

    Pretty tough - on the stickers it just says buy 6 bottles…

        I've only got the one receipt with 12 on it. I'm able to do it that way, but I didn't know if there had to be a separate debit card for each person to claim a number and send off. I wouldn't think it would be an issue.

    Anybody know which cool harvest wines have the stickers on? Or have bought with stickers on?
    I bought 6 bottles of sauvignon blanc sparkling and 6 bottles of Pinot grigio wines ( both cool harvest range).
    However I was given the stickers at the counter. Not sure whether those two are the promotional ones or not.

    Sent an email to the company and the respond was:
    Send claims to the company to be validated, they will then accept or decline the claim.
    Not much help though.

    Has anyone bought those wines with stickers on?

      Yes all of the varieties can be stickered but some bottleshops are keeping the stickers behind the counter (probably to stop people taking them). in the shop I went to they were on all the varieties but I got plain bottles and the stickers from the counter.

      Pinot Grigio definitely has stickers on them, the specially marked ones at least, not sure about the Sauv Blanc Sparkling but the counter guy at Concord West Cellars said I could choose them (I didn't ask if he had more stickers behind the counter), although the stock he put out definitely did not have stickers attached.

    Hi guys, my bf when to Jimmy Watson Cellars in BALWYN (MELBOURNE) yesterday around 6pm and they had about 30 bottles with stickers on them. He actually bought 2 cases @ $12 per bottle and a 10% discount if you bought 6 (12 bottles cost $129.60 after discount) but he soon returned it after i scored the last 2 cases for $112.80 at Dan Murphy Prahran.

    OK, start your engines… The Great Northern (Cnr Mowbray Rd & Pacific Hwy Chatswood NSW) has at least 11 bottles left, right at the front door, as of 6:15pm. If you're being fussy, then they are the Pinot Grigo & the Sauv Blanc. :P If you're racing other OzB's, then it's a drive through.

    I grabbed my 6 (Rose, thankyou!) and the ones in the boxes do not have stickers.

    Aren't such promotions required to have a permit number? ie like the following for a similar promotion run by HTC last year:

    The number of mystery flights available is capped at 7,000 and the value of the flight is up to $600 depending the flight route allocated. The total value of the mystery flights is up to $4,200,000. VIC Permit No: [11/758] NSW Permit No: [LTPS/11/03412]

    I couldn't find any mention of permit numbers and or caps.

      Not positive but permit numbers are usually for game of chance or where there is a limit on claims- so I guess in not having a permit number they will honour all valid claims.

        I went to LL Cottesloe on Thursday. they said they would not be getting the stickers in. The wine was $15 a bottle with 20% off if you bought 4 or more bottles of any wine. Dunno if that promo is still on.

    Good idea to pay the extra $3 and send it by registered post. Australia Post get extremely busy at this time and it's possible for mail to go astray.

          And that it was a PO Box that i was sending it to.

          I think stamped envelope means you pay the postage, and the post office stamps the envelope. Not 100% sure though.

          A registered post envelope is fine.

          AP indicatd a stamped envelope refered to the date being stamped on the envelope. This is to prove the day it was lodged. If a competition, bill, fine, etc, has a due date, cut off date, or some sort of deadline, then as long as it has been posted and stamped before the date concerned, it will be deemed to have been sent on the day marked, and not be subject to a penalty, late fees, or rejection in the case of a competition, if it arrives after the due date.

Waiting on the stock to come in, should be either tomorrow or Wednesday, and the promo ends Friday so be quick.
