@tightarse The TopCashback home page after logging in says that there's Triple Sister Club Points on the scrolling banner, but after my order I'm only seeing single points. Can you please confirm if it really is triple points, or does it become triple after it's successfully tracked/acknowledged by Priceline?

    • It's on their main banner.

      • That's only for their Tuesday $10 selected products special rather than site-wide as the TopCashback banner would imply. Looking at the banner one would think there's an unconditional 50% cashback with $20 cap and triple points, no conditions attached at all.

        • This is what I found, and perhaps the triple points are processed at a later stage. Appears to be across all products based on the terms below but slightly vague. Have updated the banner wording all the same based on your comment above to be safe. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Sister Club members will earn triple Sister Club Points on every eligible $1 spent online at priceline.com.au between 02/07/2024 12:01am AEST and 02/07/2024 11:59pm AEST. Eligible spend is based on Priceline’s normal national selling price. Sister Club Points are accumulated based on whole dollars spent, inclusive of GST. In order to earn points, members must either scan their Sister Club card in store (or present other identification associated with the member’s Sister Club membership, such as name, phone number or email address), or be logged into their Sister Club member account when purchasing online. Excludes purchase of gift cards, Prescriptions, Pharmacy Medicines, and Pharmacist Only Medicines. Points that have been obtained by or through fraud or other illegal activity are deemed invalid. Subject to Priceline standard terms and conditions found here. Bonus Sister Club Points will be applied to qualifying members’ accounts within six weeks of offer end date.

I am having issues with sign up. When I sign up using email, got an email to complete registration. Received an email saying click on the link below to continue. However, there is no link. Anyone know how to resolve this?

  • +2

How many people are still waiting for the 50% cashback offer from Temu in May? Many of us also have our welcome bonuses attached to that offer. It’s not a good look when you go above and beyond to endorse Top Cashback to your family and friends, only to have this bad experience where it doesn’t even track. It seems like no one over there understands this.

    • Please see here. This will be resolved soon. Thank you.

  • +1

Hopefully this tracked as I browsed on my phone app, and when I paid via Apple wallet, Priceline page disappeared but I did receive a confirmation email from Priceline of my purchase

    • Ditto. I screen recorded my phone to be safe!

  • Good one clubbed with 20% off on qv baby products and free delivery with onepass….Thanks TA. A dad saved some money!

  • Most of the topcashback cashbacks are getting declined or not tracked. I signed up for superloop NBN and my $45 cashback got declined for no reason. Also most of the amazon purchases end up in $0 cashback

    @tightarse

    • Amazon with $0 cashback means you purchased a product from an ineligible category (please read the terms). If your Superloop was declined, I have no idea why without reaching out to the merchant. You'd need to lodge a claim please and we'll chase them for you. Thanks.

      • already lodged claim

  • Made two orders but forgot to close the window and click through TopCashback for the second one. Should I cancel the second order and do a new one?

  • Tracked my 11am order already.

  • Great deal with OnePass, will give it a go! :)

  • Any good thermometers that people recommend? I bought a $10 one a while back and it's terrible.

    • +2

@harper Choice ratings of thermometers in May 2022: https://www.choice.com.au/babies-and-kids/health/baby-thermo…

The best rated one from Choice that is available at Priceline Pharmacy is Braun IRT 6030 ThermoScan 5 Infrared Ear Thermometer 77% expert rating. (The Braun ThermoScan 7 IRT 6520 is rated lower at 65%)
Next best is Famidoc FDIR-V22 Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer at 77% expert rating that is available at Chemist Warehouse but not at Priceline Pharmacy.

      Based on Choice ratings:

      Priceline Pharmacy: https://www.priceline.com.au/search/thermometer

As a comparison, Chemist Warehouse: https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/shop-online/814/thermome…

I've used various types of thermometers (oral, underarm, forehead, ear) ranging from $10 to over $300. The most accurate I've come across is the Welch Allyn Thermoscan Pro 6000 Digital Thermometer with Small Desk Cradle. Unfortunately it is not cheap. I paid $338 a few years ago from the AMA shop. This is the ear thermometer that doctors use and is easy enough for a layperson to use. The cheapest I can find online currently is from Catch for $249 with free delivery. I don't know this seller but they also have an eBay store with good feedback.
      https://www.catch.com.au/product/braun-pro-6000-thermoscan-e…

The most discount you will get from this TopCashback offer is $20. It may not be great value to buy a thermometer as it is not on sale at the moment.

      • +1

Hey thanks so much for that detailed reply. I know why mine doesn't work now as it was only $10 lol. I might need to spend a bit more . Iherb seems to be the cheapest option for the first one at $112 and then 20% off first order. Thanks again.

        • +1

@harper That's a good price. If you choose this model, you will also need to buy the Braun replacement lens filters as they are single use only and disposable. The reading is more accurate with the same brand filter rather than a generic. Didn't see the replacement filters on the iHerb website. Chemist Warehouse sells these (use the same for all Braun models): https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/32494/braun-thermosc…

I bought a few of those $10 thermometers and threw them in the bin lol. I also had a $100 infrared forehead thermometer purchased from a pharmacy that was inaccurate. The reading didn't change at all.

  • Order tracked within 2 hours

I used Brave browser, just had to drop the shields for the page to load (which is a Priceline website issue, not TC or Brave) and made sure to turn off AdGuard

  • Is Priceline Pharmacy the same thing as Priceline? I only ever knew them as Priceline. Trying to make sure this applies to anything at Priceline or if it needs to be something that makes it Priceline Pharmacy specifically.

    • +2

@tbone74 They are the same and you will get your cashback from either stores. I've shopped at both and got cashback in the past. The Priceline Pharmacy stores will have a pharmacist/pharmacy inside while the Priceline stores don't.

      • +1

I thought so but good to get the confirmation from your experience.

  • Tracked in 30 minutes. Recently bought something from The Good Guys via Shopback and it was tracked in 15 minutes as well. Looks like all the cashback providers have picked up their games in terms of tracking speed.

  • Tracking was quick on my order, less than 20mins. Loaded up on vitamins, hopefully more great deals like this down the road

  • Tracking seems fine. But has taken 12 weeks to get my first cashback with TCB (Myer).
Still another 5 transactions to hit 12 weeks in the next few days, then will retire the TCB account.
I assume other people have had a better experience with TCB? Or is everyone just more patient than I am?

    • I had a look at all my pending transactions in TCB and they all say Estimated Payable: 12 weeks… A long wait yep.

      • @Tiggrrrrr @Alinnia - Hi. 12 weeks is just an estimate. Could be a lot faster than that, and some stores a little slower. Hope this helps :)

        • Thanks. Maybe things are better now?
But so far, only one transaction has been credited (Myer) after 12 weeks to the day.
The other 5 are still pending, 1 is now at 13 weeks, the others (4) at 12 weeks, 3 days.

  • I’ve placed an order, cashback is tracked, but the order got cancelled. Can I place a new order with 50% cashback?

    • You can, however it will track at whatever you have left from the $20 cashback on the original order. So if your first cashback was $16, the second will track at $4. It will need to be manually adjusted so if you wish to proceed, ping me tomorrow as I'm a little flat out today. Thanks.

  • I ordered $41 via topshopback, the tracking amount is $19.09 instead of $20, anyone have similar issues?

    • +3

Cashback is generally calculated based on amount ex GST. I'm assuming the total is $41.99 and not $41? Excluding GST would make it $38.17, 50% of that is $19.09.

      • You are absolutely right, always learn something new.😂

        • It's also in the terms, and in the OP :)

  • @tightarse Your 4th great deal as a rep :)

Just checking if Pharmacy Medicine (Schedule 2) items are included for cashback eg larger size packs of Panadol? Thanks.

    https://www.priceline.com.au/product/441/panadol-paracetamol…

    • Thank you! I'd be an absolute liar if I said I knew. Only way to know for sure is for me to reach out to Priceline but I highly doubt I'll get an answer today. My gut says it should be ok as there's nothing in the terms stating otherwise. Maybe others have purchased this or similar items and tracked ok? So sorry 😞

      • No worries. I will buy non-pharmacy items to make it easier. Priceline's customer service response is extremely slow since Wesfarmers bought them. Thanks :)

      • @tightarse Just saw the Sister Club points exclusions and there is a chance that Pharmacy Medicines (S2) are excluded from cashback.

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15453258/redir

Sister Club Points: Excludes purchase of gift cards, Prescriptions, Pharmacy Medicines, and Pharmacist Only Medicines.

Perhaps your T&Cs for cashback need to be clarified and updated with more exclusions. Thanks :)

        • Cheers for this. A little hesitant to update until I know for sure. Have already emailed them :)

          • @tightarse: Great thanks :)

            • @trixieb: hopefully just because a purchase is excluded from earning points, doesn't also necessarily make it so with cashback :)

              for reference/comparison, Chemist Warehouse:

              • Cashback is ineligible on immunisations, prescriptions, pharmacist only medication, services, Covid19 tests.
  • Tracked in 30 minutes!
    good good good

    • how do you check if its tracked?

      • +1

        I got an email

You've received cashback in your account.
        Your recent purchase has tracked
        Priceline Pharmacy

        • After how much time you received email? Its been few hours for me now.

          • @ChipsChicky: i got an email saying tracked in around 30mins, and then the cashback is on the website after 1 hour maybe less

          • @ChipsChicky: About 30 mins for me too.

      • +1

If you're not getting the tracking email notifications, check your TCB's account settings just incase email notifications are turned off.

It's under Account > My Profile > Email Preferences > Transaction Notification

  • Don’t know what to buy. Everything seems more expensive than Chemist Warehouse / Amazon

    • Read my comment below if you don't know what to buy. Or maybe buy multivitamin? Check after cashback should be much cheaper.

  • Is it better to use iOS app or PC (chrome) for less chance of tracking issues?

I have been screen recording when I purchase for evidence haha but is there even any point to it? I imagine there’s never going to be an opportunity to prove that - if the merchant says no, it’s like the judges decision is final ?

When I use the iOS app for things like Amazon - it doesn’t go to the Amazon app like CR / SB does, so need to login manually every time. Is that by design?

    • I suspect via PC is better. My previous purchases on PC were tracked quickly.

I purchased via iOS app today and it's been over 6 hours with no confirmed tracking yet…

  • +2

Both of my purchases have been tracked successfully and I have picked them up 😄

If you guys don't know what to buy and you are above 30 or buying for your wife, consider this (Your wife may thank you for these):
    https://www.priceline.com.au/product/50580/nature-s-way-beau…

Brand below is not available in Chemist Warehouse :
    For face (3 options):
    https://www.priceline.com.au/product/22450/the-ordinary-gran…

Or this one with higher percentage:
    https://www.priceline.com.au/product/43327/the-ordinary-gran…

    Or this retinol 0.5%
    https://www.priceline.com.au/product/58219/the-ordinary-reti…

The first link is maybe the cheapest for today if compared with other stores for the same product (check google for price comparison). Comparable ingredients with other more expensive brands or similar products.

The second link (2%) is for face to reduce wrinkles etc. The third link has higher percentage (5%) than the second link. Maybe try 2% first then upgrade to 5% if good result and no side effects.

Both should be good for face, but the last link (retinol 0.5%) may have side effect such as skin irritation for sensitive skin. Retinol (last link) is less stable than granactive retinoid (link 2 & 3). If you choose retinol and all good with the retinol 0.5% (last link), you may consider to upgrade to retinol 1% (not available in Priceline). Otherwise just choose granactive retinoid.

All of these become much cheaper with the cashback as well. Don't be fooled by more expensive similar products, unless if you want to buy similar product with much higher ingredients.

LOLOL Is this a hint? You want a younger looking wife… lol

      • +1

Too many women want to look younger, lol. Anti ageing is a big industry.

Some people don't know what to buy. These are cheaper than many other stores, even much cheaper with cashback.

  • +3

My purchase through the app from midday hasn’t tracked yet. Probably shouldn’t have picked it up already 😥

  • Been stuck on the payment page for ages. Tried multiple times.

    • I had to clear the history and start all over again a few times before I could log into Priceline Pharmacy. Used chrome and desktop. Incognito was worse.

      • Cleared history x times, tried chrome edge incognito, nothing works. Just like boost - no luck for me. Sigh.

        • +1

Finally worked. Made purchases via multiple topcashback accounts to get the most cashback.

          • @k318830: Glad to hear! I had the same issue with Boost (haven't tried recently) and Cashrewards/Big W (gave up on that one).

    • Same here, had to empty cart and try again with credit card and 1st order went through.
2nd and 3rd order - payment with credit card, stuck on the payment page. Emptied carts and paid with paypal, orders went through.
1st order tracked in 13 minutes.
2nd and 3rd order - coming up to around 30 minutes and can't see tracking yet…

      • For some reason it didnt like my amex card even though i have sufficient funds. Same for using amex via paypal. It worked with a different credit card. Weird.

        • That does sound strange.
          Mine is a visa card.

And update with the tracking, all 3 orders under my own account were tracked.

2 orders under my wife's account were successfully tracked too.

Thanks everyone and obviously Priceline and TCB!

  • +1

Got the email that my purchase is tracked. Took about half an hour and I used chrome on desktop.

    • +1

      Cheers 😉

  • I got a partial refund due to one of the products being OOS. will this affect the cashback of the entire order? @tightarse

    • +2

Honestly have no idea re Priceline. If it declines the entire order down the track rather than adjusting, please just let me know and we'll escalate directly with them. Cheers.

      • Can I use my wife's Priceline account + my TopCashback account to get this deal if she's already got this deal with her Priceline account+ her TopCashback account?

  • I'm getting "Oh no!, looks like we are having trouble creating your account. Please contact the Customer Service team for help"

    • Same here, have to make an account to purchase it seems

      • Thanks, I'll keep trying.

        • @Skyward @Alrightm8 - Hi. Can't you add items to cart and check out as guest? That's what I did and worked fine for me. Cheers.

  • Wasting of time. I can't get past the Sign-Up process. Keep saying Invalid date format after entering DOB. Tried multiple times on different browsers

  • Looks like site is struggling. Can no longer log into my account or password reset

    • To TCB or Priceline?

  • Site stuck in the payment page once I clicked "Place Order".

  • Can't log in

    • To TCB or Priceline?

      • I had an issue not long ago, tcb is fine, but priceline wouldn't let me login. After pressing login 4 times I got in.

      • Yes, couldn't log in to Priceline for a while then it was fine

  • +1

Crud, Priceline just cancelled my whole order.

    • Can you reorder from another Priceline? I found the stock levels may not be accurate and I've been caught out a few times. I rang two stores today and they didn't have the stock although the items were available to order online.

    • They cancelled my order as well, I won't bother ordering online with Priceline again.

  • My wife ordered 2 items and paid with PayPal. Spinners for 5 mins. Refreshed the page, no payment confirmation or email from Priceline, and nothing recorded in the PayPal account. But she's been debited $42 - the Priceline site is shit. Beware paying with PayPal!

  • -4

This is sending a bad vibe. Placed a click and collect order at 6pm and tracked after 1 hour but then after 4 hours Priceline cancelled the order at 10PM. Now if I place another order it will track only remaining $3 and then will need to be manually adjusted. Not worth the hassle especially when their prices are already at mark up. First purchase at TopCashback with not so great experience.

    • Not sure how that's TCB's fault lol, but if you wish to make an another purchase, I can adjust the transaction tomorrow if you’d like to ping me. Thanks, and have a good night :)

      • Yeah, I was just editing to add Priceline Stuffed this up and got your reply. It's a collab of TCB and Priceline, so collective responsibility I suppose. Thanks for reply. Good night!

Irony is that Priceline website is letting me checkout with the same product from same store even at 11:20pm :).

        • Why the neg then?

          • @welikedeals: As I already stated, Cashback deal is a collaboration between TCB and Priceline. Both are parties to the profit/gain attained through these transactions. One of them can't abstain from taking the responsibility when other one fails to deliver.
I've revoked the neg though after assurance from TA. Although, this instance just refreshed all those previous memories.
