First post. apologies for any mistakes. Seems like a pretty decent price for the laptop - supports Nvidia 3d as per Computer Alliance

    It says $699 here…

    Not sure it's that fantastic a deal though, lately I've seen similar configurations with an i7 going for around this money. You can still get a 17" Dell i5 for this money too.

    Thanks OP, good price. Looking for something like this but personally I'm not interested in 1366x768 displays. Way too low for a 15.6" display, even though it's obviously the current standard. I'm open to suggestions for a similar laptop with at least 1440x900, doesn't have to be ultra-light though.

  That is a great price. (I have been looking for last couple of weeks)
  It has 24Gb SSD (Plus 500gb HD) and a pretty decent video card.
  If you are comparing prices make sure you compare same specs.
