    Is it magnetic strap or button?
    How does the ipad actually fit in the case? Hard to tell with the angle of the pic.

      i have an ipad mini now and im using it
      its a perfect fit, the strap is magnetic not a button (a button would be horrible, id never get that in)

    On the surface, a good deal. But I think people interested in buying unauthorised 3rd party lightning adaptors and cables should heed a bit of caution: I purchased several standard, 3rd party 1 metre lightning cables from 3 different eBay sellers last month, and all 3 broke within 10 days - the actual lightning fixture at the end of the wire broke away. Good thing it happened within 2 weeks as I was able to get a full refund, no worries. Also, the lack of audio and video output is a pity.

    No doubt the seller of these adaptors will claim that their adaptors are of excellent quality, won't break, and all that. But sometimes, one can buy cheap now, pay dearly later on.

    For sure, Apple are over charging for all of their lightning adaptors (and many argue for most of their products), but often it's best to buy the real thing. Plus, Apple provide a 1 year warranty on the cables. Anyhow, that's my 2 cents worth.

      Good point, even the genuine Lightning cables feel flimsy and after using mine (genuine) for a couple of days I'm worried about the longevity of the end connector, especially now that I find it harder than the old 30 pin to connect to the actual iPad due to the size (particularly in the dark, when you're fumbling around to insert the damn thing, that's what she said, right?!).

      we arent an ebay seller, we offer a full 1 year warranty on our cables and we are actually pretty relaxed about that policy. we think the cables should last a long time and if they are faulty at ANY TIME during its warranty you are entitled to a replacement or a refund.

      we are upfront about the fact that our adapters do not do audio/video and i can tell you yes, the quality is good. would i say it is as good as the apple genuine? no but these are a quarter of the price.

      the reason to buy 3rd party cables primarily is because apple cables are very expensive and most people want 3-4 cables to have everywhere and not have to worry that they have lost a $45 adapter that is the size of a 20 cent coin (not hard to lose)

      but thank you for your feedback, im sure many people feel the same way

    can someone please tell me if the ozbargain bundle is actual worth what they are saying? 89 dollars. with that price i could have brought apple genuine accessories if i actually spent that much. i did purchased the bundle. the lightning cable work. the photo is kinda misleading where they show bundle of cases but you only get one.

      the photo shows all the options of cases, it is pretty clear when you are ordering that you only get 1 case as the system forces you to choose only 1 case.

      maybe your right and the bundle isnt worth $89, i am happy to change the list price, but does it really matter? its not the price you are paying anyway.

      how much is a screen protector retail? $15-20
      how much is a case retail? $15-20?

      its all arbitrary- the value of the bundle is whatever value you give it
      all that said, if you are unhappy with your purchase, of course you can return it all for a refund

        I'm happy with the purchased don't get me wrong, although I wasn't aware that I was getting one case only. Seem like no one else has issue with it then leave it as it. In regard to the saving, at the time when I brought it I thought it was a good deal. Over 73 dollars saved. However, when I receive it that definitely not worth 89 dollars. But that just me.

    I understand that there is USB sticks that have a lightning connector that simply plugs in to an iphone or an ipad. What I want to know is why don't you have them in stock yet? Is there some reason it's not widely sold?

      You mean the lightning to USB adapter?
      The adapter is meant for cameras to load pictures,

      there was a trick in ios 5 to use it for other file types by using a non powered hub but from my tests it has been patched in ios 6.

      If you have a link for the product somewhere online? I will definitely get them in.

      Yes but I'm waiting for them to be smaller. More like the apple genuines- the current samples I've tested are hit and miss, they had a 60% faulty rate so maybe in a couple weeks.

          Quick question about the Lightning adapters, I am using an Otterbox case on my iPad and it is pretty thick but the standard official Lightning cable works, would I have a problem using the adapter?

      I think you shouldn't put comments like this when the seller has listed the order delays in this thread, and has mentioned that they have only 2 people doing orders and haven't updated the shipping info to focus on getting the orders out.
      some small business' need local support to get off the ground, especially when they try to do large amount of orders like this to increase visibility of their site.
      I'm not associated with clickship, I simply ordered 2 cables from them.
      I also ordered 2 cables from Kogan last week and haven't received them either, and they seem to have less tracking information than clickship, and yet Kogan are a large e-commerce business in Australia.
      Let's give these guys a break, see if we get the product soon, and hopefully on the flip side they can improve turnaround time.

        Lack of personnel is a lame excuse and frankly not acceptable. When you advertise a sale in ozbargain, you should expect an influx of orders and you should have planned ahead.

        I'm all for supporting local business but delays in shipment is really not acceptable. Heck, the reason why I bought locally is for the fast shipment, definitely not because I want to pay more.

        Please refund me if I don't receive them by monday.

          I am sorry you do not have your order yet, once we post the items it's really in the hands of the courier when they arrive.

      we use a local australia post guy and we gave me hundreds of orders each day so they may have been delayed as he is also just 1 guy.

        You shipped mine last week, but how long does it take to post a small item from ADL to MEL (CBD)? Surely it doesn't take a week, it was only one cable. Can Aus post really stuff up that many deliveries….. Seems like many of the posts here are all querying their orders. Anyway, I will wait till Friday as you suggest.
