  • Sold out? Following the link gives me "This item is only available from third-party sellers (see all offers)." Would have been a good stocking stuffer.

Still there. Try this link https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07RN2CC7J

      • How strange. I live just outside the CBD and the problem was my address. Putting in a friends place closer to town allowed the sale. I've never had that issue before.

cautious with the amount of stuff my kids have already, anyone with young kids between 2-6 have this and do they enjoy this in the bath and actually try to build something?

    • +3

They're pretty poor quality, but ok for a little. Certainly didn't live up to the expectations or advertising

My kids love playing with this in the shower

      • would be more fun in the shower - i didn't think of that :)

    • +2

My kids don't mind these, they are a good shower / bath toy. However they are very hard to clean, so if they grow mold good luck getting it out. So try to keep them dry when not in use.

      • I always wash the bath toys in the dishwasher. would it work with these?

        • +1

Yep that would work. My warning for more directed at if / when they get moldy its very very hard clean. However for the lazy among us, sometimes bath toys need to be simple shapes that don't retain water.

  • +10

In my view, they were only OK. Fun at times, but also gather mould in areas that are hard to reach. At that age, any sort of bucket will probably entertain the kid.

This is true. My favourite bath toy is a KFC 21 piece bucket. Add some bubble mix, light some candles, crack open a Pepsi, hoe into some fried chicken. Very entertaining.

any women would be lucky to have you in their life haha :)

  • Landfill.

    • +8

I agree in part, however we must also consider the plastic strawberry punnet, pfas lined coffee cup, and plastic wrapping on everything we purchase in today's world contributes to landfill. Those examples are single use plastics, and in much greater volume, whereas these toys will bring joy for kids for many weeks of not years (siblings etc).

      • Problem with toys now is they are all made cheaper and break, so less hand-me-downs. My mum still has toys I played with as a kid that my son plays with. No way most k-mart stuff survives two generations.

This is also currently on clearance at Big W for $24 (and has been for a few weeks). https://www.bigw.com.au/product/boon-bath-toy-bundle/p/66786

Bought this one from the last sale; some of the pieces require modification to widen the holes for better water flow in order to push the wheels, otherwise you get a really disappointing weak trickle going through the pipes

    • Thanks, not gonna get this one then.

  • Great bath toys, a few needed to have the spinning components turned around to work better but was great for engaging play.

My 3 year old didn't care though

  • Showing as $31 for me

  • Available again
