Might want to amend the title to note it's only off full-priced items.

  •

Damn, Nintendo Wii U Premium Pack Gaming System $350.99 (included $7 delivery) after 20% off…cheaper than BigW pre-order.

    •

Yep the Wii U looks like the best deal here…

  •

    wow, they have Kobo Touch.

20% on ONE FULL PRICE product, is that mean if I want to buy 2 I have to use 2 user accounts?

Just tried added items only one deducted 20%, in that case have to use multiple account and pay multiple shipping.

I don't know why got neg but I have just ordered 2 Kobo Touch $79 each with 2 difference account.

      $72 + $7 delivered.

HN, JB are doing it for $125-$129 at the moment.

  •

My preorder from bigw still haven't shipped yet… is it only me?

    •

My Big W order is still pending too. Might get it from here instead

    •

I ordered 2 WiiU and both arrived on Monday. Order placed on 29 Nov.

    •

      I haven't got mine either.

      •

You can stroll into BigW today and pick up the premium pack for $378 I think.

  • +1 vote

Oh man. I was looking for reasons not to buy this but that price is amazing.

  •

Can you pay and pickup and save postage costs?>

  •

Melbourne metro price (including the $11 shipping) is $354.99. For the sake of $3 bucks I'm keeping my Big W order.
Also, remember that the advertising DOES NOT say stock on hand…
So, you'll be waiting for just before Christmas 'next shipment' of Nintendo Wii U stock…

    •

Ha ha, I think you were right.

I resisted a Wii-U at Big W and kinda regretted it. It's only a few dollars cheaper here, but I didn't resist it this time.

  •

    IMPORTANT T&C

    "You must login or sign-up"
Ie: Don't use paypal express. Register and use regular paypal checkout.
It likely won't matter, but do it because you don't want to be unlucky and find yourself paying full price.

Also, code applies to least expensive item in the basket. So don't buy anything else in your order.

  •

Wii U appears to be out of stock online now.

    • +3 votes

i doubt it's out of stock, more likely they realised they're losing a lot of money on this item…

    • +1 vote

Hmm, I ordered about a minute before you posted this. I wonder if they will honour it?

  • +1 vote

Am I missing something? Now it says not available to order online for the Wii U.

Edit : Beaten by 21 seconds.

  • +1 vote

    Nuts!

  • +1 vote

was finally going to pull the trigger on buying a wii u and they cancelled online orders…even big w you cant buy online anymore.

    waiting for next OB

  •

Is it they only have Wii U and no XBOX, Playstation, etc.

I remember they have games, consoles in store.

  •

    not bad

  •

pretty good but out of stock

  • +1 vote

should complain to consumer affairs they offer a promo then states out of stock when we all know its not a sell out.

    •

Why they cannot sold out, if hundred or thousand of peoples ordered it.

      •

talking about toyrus still stock them at in melb major centres made a few calls today.

  •

hate the postage fee. can i just ask the actual store to match their online price?
i just want to buy a small toy costs $12, adding the $7 postage just makes it nothing.

    •

can i just ask the actual store to match their online price?

yes, but you won't get the 20% off from paypal…

      • +1 vote

but it's not from paypal … its from ToyRus when using paypal.

  •

I also want to buy a casio music keyboard but why they don't have it online.

I've been tossing up whether to get an e-reader for christmas for about a week now, but this is easily the best price I've seen so I ended up getting the Kobo Touch! Thanks!

    •

Finally somebody want the Kobo touch like me :)

Been waiting for the Glo but for $159 I can buy two touch now. I don't read in dark and casual reader so doesn't matter.

    •

I paid about $120 for the Touch last year, it's a great price

  • +3 votes

+1 for Kobo Touch - best investment I've made this year. Easy to use and fast screen refresh :)

  •

    If I remember big w price matches…

  •

For some reason Toys R Us charge $4 more delivery for the kobo touch to Melbourne — definitely confirmed this cos I made up a Sydney address and it then charged $7.

    •

I found the same, even to Newcastle it was $11. Oh well.

You are all lucky. I live in a suburb that has an apostrophe in its name and the Toys'r'us 'registration' page wont recognise apostrophes. If you type it in without one, a pull down menu appears and the suburb name has an apostrophe in it. When you select it, everything after the apostrophe disappears (so my suburb is listed as 'O').

Anyway, means I cant register to buy something even if I want to.

Ironic for a store that has so many apostrophes in its own name.

    •

You live in O'Connor, ACT? :p

      •

        Or O'Malley

  •

I was at Toys"R"Us on Saturday and no " combination offers" posted on wall, like they used to, for any system. bit disappointed as used to buy our systems from them like that. The $350 (Wii U premium) would have been snapped up! (If they are available that is … only 3 boxes there in the shop that I could see). Was wanting to compare prices on the WiiU and 3DS. Dick Smith no longer had Wii U at $408 … Big W only offered me the $10 off per email voucher, so $418. Purchased both yesterday from Good Guys $410 Wii U premium, $225 3DS, and thought these good deals.

Re: games … I purchased the 3DS game "Super Mario 3D Land" $58 (BigW) and Wii U game "New Super Mario Bros" $60.99 (Ozbargains online). Found these to be the best prices I could find for these games.

    •

big w has the wii u advertised for 378….so why are they selling it for $418?

  •

Seem like for Kobo Touch only Lilac have stock now.

    •

Oh it looks like even that one is sold out now too! Glad I made the impulse decision last night and got the blue one :)

      •

Me too I bought black and blue, been thinking whether this or Glo. But decided this because for the same price I can get two touchs instead of one Glo.

      •

Yeah all out of stock now.

Just checked one order got despatched :)

  •

    Oops apologies … correction…

I purchased 3DS game "New Super Mario Bros" $60.99 from ozgameshop.com (not Ozbargains).

    • +2 votes

invest in a flashcart, supercard ds two etc. like a true OB'r

      •

I think you mean a thief. OzBargainers don't steal they just find criminal prices :P

  •

My Wii U arrived today. That was quick.

    •

wow … one of my blue Kobo despatched but the black one said order received.

Anyone bought black Kobo, how is your order?

      •

My blue touch just arrived waiting for the black.

        •

Cannot get through their support line yesterday and today, so busy.

        •

Cancelled the pending one and returned the received one and bought the Glo.

Glo is so much better, so wasted $7 delivery :(

  •

No Wii U stock….. Big W Online have Wii U Premium stock again… add the 20 discount code and get the machine shipped free for $358! :-)

  •

Back in stock again at Big W online! :-)
